Baldock is a historic Hertfordshire market town. We travel throughout Hertfordshire for church and civil weddings, and Letchworth, Hitchin and Royston are all familiar to us. We photograph at churches, country houses and registry offices right across Hertfordshire.

We move quietly through the vows and the register signing, capturing the real moments rather than staging them. We work discreetly during the church service, mindful that some churches restrict where a photographer may stand. We document each part of the day, from the register signing to the cake cutting, so your gallery feels true to the day you lived.

From our London base we travel across Hertfordshire for weddings, and Baldock, a historic Hertfordshire market town, is a familiar destination. We also photograph in nearby Royston and Rickmansworth. Baldock and the towns around it offer venues such as Letchworth Hall Hotel and Milling Barn, all familiar to us.

Baldock is a historic Hertfordshire market town founded by the Knights Templar in the twelfth century where the Great North Road crossed the Icknield Way. Baldock station is on the Cambridge to London King's Cross line, and the A1(M) runs close to the town. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Weston Hills nature reserve and the chalk downland countryside surrounding the town, and The Church of St Mary the Virgin, with a chancel dating from the thirteenth century gives the day a strong sense of Baldock.

From the ceremony to the celebration

The first kiss seals the marriage, and we photograph it with care. The signing of the register is a chance for a few natural, unhurried photographs. We photograph the exchange of vows from a respectful distance with quiet, long-lens work.

We photograph the couple's arrival at the reception, whether by car, on foot or in something grander. The day often opens with bridal preparation, the dress, the details and the buttonholes, and we are there for it. Bridal preparation is full of quiet anticipation, and often holds the warmest, most natural moments.
