Every image here was taken by Kaushik Bathia, an award-winning photographer based at our Northwood studio in north-west London, with more than twenty-five years and over 1,200 celebrations behind the camera. The wedding images span both Asian and civil traditions. Under Asian weddings you will find Hindu, Sikh, Gujarati, Muslim and Tamil celebrations photographed end to end, from the mehndi and sangeet through to the baraat, the ceremony and the reception, with all the colour, ritual and family emotion left intact. The civil and English weddings show church services, register-office ceremonies and country-house receptions across the capital and the Home Counties, captured quietly so the day unfolds naturally. Portrait and family frames cover individual, couple and personal-branding sittings alongside multi-generation family groups. Some are made in the Northwood studio under controlled natural light; others are relaxed sessions in local parks and woods. They are unhurried and flattering, whether the brief is a headshot, a graduate portrait, a milestone birthday or three generations gathered in one frame. The newborn images come from gentle, safety-first sessions in a baby's first weeks, often paired with maternity portraits taken before the arrival. These are calm, patient shoots led entirely by the baby, so nothing is rushed or forced and every set-up puts comfort first. If you are expecting, it helps to plan the timing early, which is why maternity portraits are usually made in the final weeks and newborns within the first two to three.
Alongside the celebrations, the studio photographs commercial and business work: professional headshots, personal branding, team portraits and product images for local companies. Portrait, family and newborn galleries are usually ready within one to two weeks. Weddings take a little longer because of the number of images and the care each one receives in editing. In every case you receive a private online gallery to view and choose from at your own pace.
