We talk first
Every session begins with a conversation. I want to understand your story, your style and what matters most to you.
A lifetime spent learning to see, and to help others be seen, from London.

My story
My fascination with the camera began as a young man, captivated by the way a single frame could hold an entire feeling. Over twenty-five years that fascination has become a craft, and, more than that, a way of connecting with people.
From my London studio I've photographed hundreds of weddings, watched families grow from bump to baby to school photos, and helped countless businesses put their best face forward. Along the way I've been honoured with five European Kodak Gold Awards and elected a Fellow of both the British Institute of Professional Photography (FBIPP) and the Master Photographers Association (FMPA).
But the awards aren't what keep me behind the lens. It's the moment a couple sees their wedding album for the first time, or a parent holds a print of their newborn. That's the real reward.
Work with meHow I work
Every session begins with a conversation. I want to understand your story, your style and what matters most to you.
No stiff poses or forced smiles. I create a calm, friendly space so the real moments can happen naturally.
Carefully edited images, presented in albums, prints and frames made to be enjoyed for generations.
Experience & credentials
Kaushik Bathia has photographed professionally for more than twenty-five years, capturing over 1,200 weddings and celebrations from the Northwood studio that opened its doors in 2001. That longevity matters. It means the same steady hands have learned to read a room, anticipate a moment before it happens and stay calm when a ceremony runs late or the light turns difficult.
The craft has been recognised at the highest levels of the profession. Kaushik holds five European Kodak Gold Awards and has been elected a Fellow of both the British Institute of Professional Photography (FBIPP) and the Master Photographers Association (FMPA). Fellowship is the senior grade in each body, awarded on a portfolio judged by peers, and it is held by only a small number of working photographers in the country.
Beyond the accolades, the work speaks through the people it has served. The studio holds a 4.8 rating from 539 Google reviews, built one relaxed session and one carefully finished album at a time, across weddings, portraits, headshots, newborns and family sittings.

What to expect
Booking a photographer should feel reassuring, not daunting. Here is exactly how a session unfolds, from your first message to the finished album on your shelf.
You tell us the occasion, the date and roughly what you have in mind. We reply with honest advice and a clear, no-obligation quote, with no pressure to commit.
Before the day we talk through the details, the people, the timings and the shots that matter most to you, so nothing important is left to chance.
Whether in the studio or on location, we keep things calm and unhurried. No stiff poses, just gentle direction so you look like yourself at your best.
Every chosen image is hand-edited with care, not batch-processed. We aim for a natural, timeless finish that will still feel right in twenty years.
You see your gallery and choose your favourites at your own pace. We are happy to guide you on prints, sizes and album layouts if you would like a hand.
We finish your images as albums, framed prints and wall art made to last, produced to a professional standard you rarely see from a high-street lab.
Areas we serve
From the Northwood studio we regularly photograph clients across North West London and the surrounding boroughs, including Harrow, Pinner, Ruislip, Watford and Moor Park, as well as Hertfordshire and central London. We are also happy to travel further afield for weddings and celebrations anywhere in the UK.
Whatever the occasion, there is a home for it here. Explore Asian wedding photography, traditional wedding coverage, studio and location portraits, professional business headshots and warm family and newborn photography. You can browse recent work in the gallery, see the full range on our services page, or simply get in touch for a friendly chat.
