How we use the details you send us, and what this website does and does not collect.
This notice explains what happens to the details you give Kaushik Bathia Photography when you send an enquiry through this website, and what the website itself collects.
Who we are

What the enquiry form collects
When you send an enquiry through a form on this website, it includes:
- your name
- your phone number, which is the one contact detail we ask for so we can reply
- your email address, only if you choose to give it
- your message
- the page you sent the form from, added automatically so we know what you were looking at
- campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign), added automatically only when the link you followed to reach the website carried them
How your enquiry reaches us
Forms on this website are delivered by Web3Forms, a third-party form service. When you press send, Web3Forms receives your enquiry and passes it on to the studio's email inbox.
The WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp, a service run by Meta. Anything you send there is handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. The first message is filled in with the name of the page you were on, and you can change it before you send it.
Google Maps
Some pages, including the contact page and the studio service pages, show an embedded Google Map. When the map loads, Google may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard request data, such as IP addresses and browser details, to serve and protect the site, under its own privacy terms.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set any tracking or advertising cookies and does not use any analytics service. The only thing it keeps in your browser is the campaign tags described above, held in session storage for the length of your visit so they can be sent with an enquiry. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab.
How we use your details
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you book, to provide the service you booked. We keep them for no longer than we need them for that, and for the records we must keep for legal and accounting purposes.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you can ask to see the personal details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, ask us to delete them, and object to how we use them. To do any of these, call 07956 505383, email info@kaushikbathiaphotography.co.uk or write to us at the studio.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
