The First Dance
The opening of the evening reception, photographed with all of its energy.
Relaxed, natural wedding photography in Chalfont St Giles, from the morning details to the last dance of the evening reception, with a calm presence and a gift for the candid moment.
Serving Chalfont St Giles
Chalfont St Giles is a picturesque Chilterns village. From grand country houses to intimate registry-office ceremonies, we are at home everywhere across Amersham, Chalfont St Peter and Beaconsfield. From Chalfont St Giles we cover weddings right across Buckinghamshire, at manor houses, barns, marquees and historic churches.
Our approach is relaxed and documentary, so you can be present at your own church or civil ceremony rather than posing for it. We capture the day honestly, from the nerves of bridal preparation to the joy of the confetti thrown outside. We plan for changeable British weather, with a relaxed wet-weather backup ready for the confetti and portraits if it is needed.
We travel throughout Buckinghamshire for church and civil weddings, and Chalfont St Giles, a picturesque Chilterns village, is one we know well. We also photograph in nearby Bourne End and Princes Risborough. We are at home at Chalfont St Giles-area venues such as Newland Manor and Chiltern Open Air Museum.
Chalfont St Giles is a picturesque Chilterns village centred on a green and duck pond fed by the River Misbourne. The village has no station of its own and is served by the A413 road, with nearby rail at Chalfont and Latimer and Seer Green. For portraits away from the celebration, The village green and the grounds of the nearby Chiltern Open Air Museum works beautifully, and Milton's Cottage, the 16th century timber-framed house where John Milton completed Paradise Lost adds a real sense of place.

What we offer
The opening of the evening reception, photographed with all of its energy.
The first dance, the dance floor and the last guest, captured to the very end.
The father of the bride, the groom and the best man, with all the laughter and the tears.
Every tradition
The exchange of rings is a quiet, tender moment, and we are always in position for it. The giving away and the joining of hands are captured with a gentle, unobtrusive eye. The readings and the hymns each have their place, and we photograph them as they happen.
We capture the guests and the family moments, not just the couple. The speeches bring laughter and tears, from the father of the bride to the best man, and we capture them all. We capture the drinks reception, with the canapes, the receiving line and the lawn games.

The whole celebration
A second photographer means the bridal prep and the groom's preparations can be covered at the same time. The getting-ready hours often hold the most relaxed, candid moments of the whole day.
The best galleries are spread evenly across the day, not saved for the ceremony alone. We keep the day flowing, moving smoothly between the ceremony, the group photographs and the reception.
Why choose us
Over a thousand weddings have taught us when to step in for the exchange of rings and when to stand quietly back. We have photographed church and civil weddings across the country for more than two decades.
We are London-based and travel across Buckinghamshire for church, registry office and country-house weddings alike. We cover the Home Counties and beyond, glad to travel further afield for a barn or marquee wedding on request.

Where we travel
We will travel to your bridal preparations, your ceremony and your wedding breakfast, wherever each is held. A wedding that moves from the parish church to a separate reception venue is never an issue; we plan the route in advance.

Good to know
Yes. Our style is mainly documentary, capturing the day as it happens, but we will also gather a handful of timeless couple and family portraits, so your album holds both natural moments and classic ones.
Yes. We travel to Chalfont St Giles and across Buckinghamshire for church, civil and country-house weddings. We are London-based and cover the wider region as a matter of course, so distance is never a problem.
Very. We photograph the vows and the first kiss from a respectful distance with quiet, long-lens work. We are also mindful that some churches restrict where a photographer may stand, and we work within those wishes.
Popular dates, especially in summer, book up well ahead, so we recommend enquiring as early as you can. Tell us your wedding date and venue and we will confirm availability straight away.
Yes. For larger weddings we bring a second photographer, so the bridal preparation and the groom's preparations can be covered at the same time and both the ceremony and the guests are fully captured.
