We plan for changeable British weather, with a relaxed wet-weather backup ready for the confetti and portraits if it is needed. We are calm and unhurried, gathering the whole story from bridal prep to the last dance without ever getting in the way. We move quietly through the vows and the register signing, capturing the real moments rather than staging them.

From our London base we travel across Hertfordshire for weddings, and Knebworth, home to the grand Knebworth House, a celebrated wedding venue, is a familiar destination. Knebworth is a Hertfordshire village best known for Knebworth House, a celebrated wedding venue and the site of huge outdoor concerts in its parkland. Knebworth station lies on the East Coast Main Line, with Great Northern services to London King's Cross. For pre-wedding and couple portraits, we love spots such as The parkland and formal gardens of Knebworth Park, with Knebworth House, a Tudor manor remodelled with High Gothic decoration by Edward Bulwer-Lytton close by for a striking backdrop.

Quiet moments, captured with respect

From the processional to the confetti, the ceremony tells its own story, and we follow it closely. We know the order of a ceremony by heart, so we are always in the right place. We capture the couple's first steps as husband and wife, or as newlyweds, straight after the vows.

The day often opens with bridal preparation, the dress, the details and the buttonholes, and we are there for it. We are glad to cover the golden-hour portraits, a few quiet minutes away from the reception. The toasts, the speeches and the cake cutting each have their moment, and we photograph them all.
