Amersham is a Chilterns market town with old and new quarters. From the mandap to the reception, we keep the day flowing across venues throughout Chesham, Beaconsfield and Chalfont St Peter. We photograph at temples, mandaps and banqueting halls right across Buckinghamshire.

We photograph the sacred and the joyful with equal care, the agni as faithfully as the bhangra. We are calm and unhurried, gathering the whole story without ever getting in the way. We are at ease with large, multi-day celebrations and intimate ceremonies alike.

From our London base we travel across Buckinghamshire for Hindu weddings, and Amersham, a Chilterns market town with old and new quarters, is a familiar destination. We also photograph in nearby Chesham and Gerrards Cross.

From haldi to vidaai

The jaimala, when the couple exchange garlands, is a moment of pure joy we love to photograph. We are mindful of every family's customs at the mandap, Gujarati, Punjabi, Marwari or North Indian. We keep our distance during the most solemn moments and step in only for the joyful ones.

The dhol and dancing of the baraat are pure joy, and we capture every bit of the energy. The sangeet is an evening of music and dance, and we capture all of its energy. We document the roka and the engagement that begin the journey, when families ask us.
