Pre-Wedding Events
The haldi, mehndi and sangeet, where the warmest, most natural moments often happen.
Award-winning Hindu wedding photographer in Basingstoke, capturing the baraat, the jaimala and the sacred pheras around the agni, with a calm presence and a gift for the candid moment.
Serving Basingstoke
Basingstoke is a Hampshire town with a diverse community. From grand banqueting venues to intimate temple ceremonies, we are at home everywhere across Chineham, Tadley and Overton. Whether your mandap is in Basingstoke itself or elsewhere across Hampshire, we plan the day around your venues.
Our style is unobtrusive, so the day feels like yours and never a photoshoot. We let the day unfold at its own pace and meet it with a quiet, watchful eye. We bring a long lens and a light touch, so the most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance.
Much of our work takes us across Hampshire; Basingstoke, a Hampshire town with a diverse community, and the towns around it, including Chineham, Tadley and Overton, are very familiar to us. We also cover nearby Winchester and Farnborough.

What we offer
The haldi, mehndi and sangeet, where the warmest, most natural moments often happen.
From the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and saptapadi around the agni, every ritual and its timing understood.
The dhol, the dancing and the groom's joyful arrival, photographed with all of its energy.
Every tradition
The varmala and the madhuparka each have their place, and we capture them as they happen. We are mindful of every family's customs at the mandap, Gujarati, Punjabi, Marwari or North Indian. The pheras around the agni, each carrying a vow, are the heart of the ceremony, and we capture them close.
From the turmeric of the haldi to the music of the sangeet, the events set the tone for the wedding. The day often opens with a Ganesh puja for an auspicious start, and we are there for it. We capture the family moments around the bride and groom, not just the rituals.

The whole celebration
The turmeric of the haldi and the henna of the mehndi are rich with colour, and we make the most of it. The pre-wedding events often span several days, each with its own mood.
We photograph the ceremony, the portraits and the reception in balance, so each is given its due. The wedding day itself is a journey, from the groom's baraat and the milni to the pheras and the vidaai.
Why choose us
Experience means we are ready for the muhurat timing, the early starts and the precise order of rituals. We have photographed Hindu weddings across the country for more than two decades.
From our London base, Basingstoke and the rest of Hampshire are an easy, familiar journey. We travel happily across Hampshire and the surrounding counties for the whole celebration.

Where we travel
We cover the Home Counties and beyond, and are glad to travel further afield on request. We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us across the Home Counties.
