The Mandap Ceremony
From the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and saptapadi around the agni, every ritual and its timing understood.
Gujarati and Hindu wedding photography in Hertford, from the groom's baraat and the milni to the pheras and the vidaai, with warmth, discretion and beautiful albums to keep.
Serving Hertford
Hertford is the historic county town on the river Lea. Hindu families throughout Ware, Hoddesdon and Welwyn trust us with their celebrations, large and small. We photograph at temples, mandaps and banqueting halls right across Hertfordshire.
We are calm and unhurried, gathering the whole story without ever getting in the way. We arrive early, stay late and keep pace with every part of the celebration. We follow your family's customs closely and photograph them exactly as you keep them.
Much of our work takes us across Hertfordshire; Hertford, the historic county town on the river Lea, and the towns around it, including Ware, Hoddesdon and Welwyn, are very familiar to us. We also cover nearby Stevenage and Hitchin.

What we offer
From the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and saptapadi around the agni, every ritual and its timing understood.
Hand-finished albums that hold the whole story of your Hindu celebration.
The dhol, the dancing and the groom's joyful arrival, photographed with all of its energy.
Every tradition
The most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance with a quiet long lens. We work quietly around the pandit so the ceremony at the mandap is never disturbed. We photograph the lighting of the havan and the blessings of the pandit with respect.
We capture the lively baraat as the groom arrives, with the dhol, the dancing and the milni. The mehndi is intimate and detailed, and we photograph both the henna and the laughter around it. We capture the groom's arrival in procession, on a horse or in a car, surrounded by dancing family.

The whole celebration
We tailor the hours to your events, whether it is one key day or a long weekend of celebrations. Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours.
We keep the day flowing, moving smoothly between the ceremony, the family photos and the reception. From the morning preparations to the final dance, we give every part of the day the same care.
Why choose us
With twenty-five years and over a thousand weddings behind us, nothing about a Hindu ceremony surprises us. Decades of weddings mean we read the day instinctively and never miss the moments that matter.
We are London-based and travel across Hertfordshire and the wider region for Hindu weddings. We are glad to discuss your venues and the journey between them when you enquire.

Where we travel
Distance is never a problem; travelling to your venues is simply part of how we work. We travel happily across Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties for the whole celebration.
