The Mandap Ceremony
From the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and saptapadi around the agni, every ritual and its timing understood.
Hindu wedding photographer covering Kingston upon Thames, covering the haldi, the mehndi, the sangeet and the mandap in full, with a calm presence and a gift for the candid moment.
Serving Kingston upon Thames
Kingston upon Thames is a riverside town with a large South Asian and Korean community. Across Surbiton, New Malden and Norbiton and the rest of Greater London, we cover the baraat, the ceremony and the reception with a careful eye. From Kingston upon Thames we cover weddings right across Greater London, at temples, hotels, marquees and banqueting suites.
We photograph with warmth and respect, mindful of the meaning behind each ritual. Our approach is relaxed and documentary, so you can be present in your own wedding. We let the day unfold at its own pace and meet it with a quiet, watchful eye.
Whether your celebration is in Kingston upon Thames itself or elsewhere in Greater London, we plan travel and timings with care. Kingston upon Thames is a riverside town with a large South Asian and Korean community. We also photograph in nearby New Malden and Southall.

What we offer
From the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and saptapadi around the agni, every ritual and its timing understood.
The speeches, the first dance and the bhangra, captured to the very last guest.
Calm, unobtrusive coverage that captures the day as you lived it, never staged.
Every tradition
The saptapadi, the seven steps the couple take together, seals the marriage, and we photograph it with reverence. We photograph the lighting of the havan and the blessings of the pandit with respect. The pheras around the agni, each carrying a vow, are the heart of the ceremony, and we capture them close.
We photograph the bridal preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye. For Gujarati families, we know the mandvo, the grah shanti and the pithi, and photograph each with care. The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention.

The whole celebration
A multi-day Hindu wedding can run across three or four days, and we plan our coverage around all of them. Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours.
We always recommend a little time for couple portraits, often at golden hour, away from the bustle. From the morning preparations to the final dance, we give every part of the day the same care.
Why choose us
We are trusted with celebrations of every size, from intimate ceremonies to several hundred guests. Our experience across Gujarati, Punjabi, Marwari and North Indian weddings runs deep.
We photograph across Greater London regularly, and travelling to Kingston upon Thames is second nature. We photograph weddings throughout London and the surrounding area, and Kingston upon Thames is firmly within the area we cover.

Where we travel
We factor in travel and timings carefully, so we are always where we need to be. We are used to celebrations spread across several venues, and keep the day flowing between them.
