The Mandap Ceremony
From the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and saptapadi around the agni, every ritual and its timing understood.
Your Hindu wedding photographer in Nottingham, from the colour of the mehndi to the tears and joy of the vidaai, captured as it happens and never staged.
Serving Nottingham
Nottingham is an East Midlands city with a diverse community and country-house venues. Across Nottinghamshire, including Hyson Green, West Bridgford and Beeston, we photograph the colour and devotion of every ritual. From Nottingham we cover weddings right across Nottinghamshire, at temples, hotels, marquees and banqueting suites.
We keep the calm of the mandap and the energy of the reception in equal measure. We let the day unfold at its own pace and meet it with a quiet, watchful eye. We bring a long lens and a light touch, so the most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance.
Couples come to us from right across the Midlands, and Nottingham is firmly on our patch. Nottingham is an East Midlands city with a diverse community and country-house venues, and we know its venues well. We also cover nearby Loughborough and Derby.

What we offer
From the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and saptapadi around the agni, every ritual and its timing understood.
At home with the mandvo, the pithi, the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras.
The haldi, mehndi and sangeet, where the warmest, most natural moments often happen.
Every tradition
We are mindful of every family's customs at the mandap, Gujarati, Punjabi, Marwari or North Indian. The blessings of the elders and the ashirwad close the ceremony, and we capture them with warmth. We anticipate the muhurat, the auspicious hour that sets the pace of the ceremony.
The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention. We photograph the bridal preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye. From the turmeric of the haldi to the music of the sangeet, the events set the tone for the wedding.

The whole celebration
The haldi and mehndi are intimate, colourful gatherings that set the tone for everything to come. We tailor the hours to your events, whether it is one key day or a long weekend of celebrations.
Just fifteen minutes is enough for a handful of timeless portraits near your venue. We always recommend a little time for couple portraits, often at golden hour, away from the bustle.
Why choose us
We have built our reputation on reliability, warmth and a genuine love of the work. We are trusted with celebrations of every size, from intimate ceremonies to several hundred guests.
Distance is never a problem; travelling to your venues is simply part of how we work. We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us across the Midlands.

Where we travel
Wherever your events take place across the Midlands, we will be there in good time. From London we reach Nottingham easily, and we know the venues of Nottinghamshire well.
