Pre-Wedding Events
The haldi, mehndi and sangeet, where the warmest, most natural moments often happen.
Hindu and Gujarati wedding photographer in Rochdale, capturing every ritual from the turmeric of the haldi to the sindoor, with warmth, discretion and beautiful albums to keep.
Serving Rochdale
Rochdale is a Pennine town with a diverse community. Hindu families throughout Heywood, Middleton and Milnrow trust us with their celebrations, large and small. Whether your mandap is in Rochdale itself or elsewhere across Greater Manchester, we plan the day around your venues.
We capture the emotion of the day honestly, from the laughter of the sangeet to the tears of the vidaai. We photograph the small moments as carefully as the grand ones, the glances as well as the rituals. We keep the calm of the mandap and the energy of the reception in equal measure.
We know Rochdale and the surrounding part of Greater Manchester well, having photographed Hindu weddings throughout Heywood, Middleton and Milnrow. We are often in nearby Bury and Stockport too.

What we offer
The haldi, mehndi and sangeet, where the warmest, most natural moments often happen.
Calm, unobtrusive coverage that captures the day as you lived it, never staged.
At home with the mandvo, the pithi, the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras.
Every tradition
We photograph the kanyadaan and the joining of hands at the mandap with quiet care. The pheras around the agni, each carrying a vow, are the heart of the ceremony, and we capture them close. We anticipate the muhurat, the auspicious hour that sets the pace of the ceremony.
The mehndi is intimate and detailed, and we photograph both the henna and the laughter around it. We photograph the bridal preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye. We capture the groom's arrival in procession, on a horse or in a car, surrounded by dancing family.

The whole celebration
We arrive in good time for each pre-wedding event and stay until the celebrations wind down. The early events are full of warmth and laughter, and we photograph them with the same care as the ceremony.
Just fifteen minutes is enough for a handful of timeless portraits near your venue. We keep the day flowing, moving smoothly between the ceremony, the family photos and the reception.
