The Vidaai
The most emotional moment of the day, photographed with great sensitivity and care.
Punjabi and North Indian Hindu wedding photography in Swansea, covering the Ganesh puja, the varmala and the seven steps of the saptapadi, with full-day coverage and beautifully bound albums.
Serving Swansea
Swansea is a coastal Welsh city with seafront venues. From the mandap to the reception, we keep the day flowing across venues throughout Sketty, Morriston and Mumbles. We photograph at temples, mandaps and banqueting halls right across South Wales.
We take the time beforehand to understand your customs and the order of your events. We photograph the sacred and the joyful with equal care, the agni as faithfully as the bhangra. Our approach is relaxed and documentary, so you can be present in your own wedding.
Hindu families across Sketty, Morriston and Mumbles trust us with their weddings, and Swansea, a coastal Welsh city with seafront venues, is a place we return to often. We also cover nearby Cardiff and Newport.

What we offer
The most emotional moment of the day, photographed with great sensitivity and care.
We keep the calm of the mandap and work quietly around the pandit and the fire.
At home with the mandvo, the pithi, the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras.
Every tradition
For Gujarati families, we know the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras and photograph each as you keep it. We photograph the lighting of the havan and the blessings of the pandit with respect. The jaimala, when the couple exchange garlands, is a moment of pure joy we love to photograph.
We photograph the milni, when the two families meet, with all of its warmth. We document the roka and the engagement that begin the journey, when families ask us. From the turmeric of the haldi to the music of the sangeet, the events set the tone for the wedding.

The whole celebration
Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours. The pre-wedding events often span several days, each with its own mood.
We capture the reception in full, the speeches, the first dance and the energy of the floor. On the wedding day, the baraat, the mandap ceremony and the pheras build to the vidaai and the reception.
Why choose us
We bring the steadiness that only comes from photographing weddings for twenty-five years. We know the rhythm of a mandap ceremony by heart, so the sacred moments are always captured.
We factor in travel and timings carefully, so we are always where we need to be. We will travel to your mandap, your reception and your pre-wedding events, wherever they are held.

Where we travel
We are glad to discuss your venues and the journey between them when you enquire. We photograph weddings throughout Wales, and Swansea is firmly within the area we cover.
