Serving Walthamstow

Documenting Hindu weddings in Walthamstow

Walthamstow is an east London area with a strong South Asian community. Wherever your events are held across Leyton, Chingford and Leytonstone, we plan the timings and travel with care. Whether your mandap is in Walthamstow itself or elsewhere across Greater London, we plan the day around your venues.

We work discreetly around the pandit and the families, never intruding on a sacred moment. We are a reassuring, familiar presence, so everyone relaxes and the day flows naturally. We capture the details too, the flowers, the jewellery, the mandap, that make your day yours.

Much of our work takes us across Greater London; Walthamstow, an east London area with a strong South Asian community, and the towns around it, including Leyton, Chingford and Leytonstone, are very familiar to us. We also cover nearby Romford and Barking.

What we offer

Hindu wedding coverage in Walthamstow

01

Reverent & Discreet

We keep the calm of the mandap and work quietly around the pandit and the fire.

02

Second Photographers

For large mandap days, a second shooter covers the baraat and the bridal prep at once.

03

Whole-Day Coverage

From the morning puja to the last dance of the reception, every event told as one story.

Every tradition

Gujarati, Punjabi and North Indian customs

For Gujarati families, we know the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras and photograph each as you keep it. We photograph the kanyadaan and the joining of hands at the mandap with quiet care. The pheras around the agni, each carrying a vow, are the heart of the ceremony, and we capture them close.

We capture the groom's arrival in procession, on a horse or in a car, surrounded by dancing family. We capture the lively baraat as the groom arrives, with the dhol, the dancing and the milni. The mehndi night, the sangeet and the haldi each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all.

The whole celebration

Every event, given its due

The days before the wedding often hold the most relaxed, candid moments of the whole celebration. The pre-wedding events often span several days, each with its own mood.

From the baraat to the last guest, we follow the whole day at its own pace. The wedding day itself is a journey, from the groom's baraat and the milni to the pheras and the vidaai.

Why choose us

A safe pair of hands in Walthamstow

We understand how much the day means, and we photograph it with the care it deserves. Families return to us, and recommend us, because we treat every ritual as it deserves.

We will travel to your mandap, your reception and your pre-wedding events, wherever they are held. We are London-based and travel across Greater London and the wider region for Hindu weddings.

Yes. For larger Hindu weddings we bring a second photographer so the mandap rituals and the guests are both fully covered, and the baraat and the bridal preparations can be photographed at once.

Very much so. We know the mandap rituals by heart, from the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and the saptapadi, and we position ourselves so the sindoor and mangalsutra are always captured.
