Serving Burnley
Burnley is a Pennine Lancashire town with a diverse community. We travel throughout Lancashire for mandapam ceremonies, and Padiham, Nelson and Brierfield are all familiar to us. We know the venues of the North of England well, and move easily between the temple and the reception.
Timing is everything in a Tamil wedding, and we plan our coverage around the auspicious muhurtham. We arrive early for the muhurtham, stay late and keep pace with every part of the celebration. A long lens and a light touch let us capture the sacred muhurtham from a respectful distance from the homam.
Much of our work takes us across Lancashire; Burnley, a Pennine Lancashire town with a diverse community, and the towns around it, including Padiham, Nelson and Brierfield, are very familiar to us. We also cover nearby Preston and Blackburn. Burnley and the towns around it offer venues such as The Oaks Hotel, Sparth House and Eaves Hall, all familiar to us.
Burnley is a Pennine Lancashire town known for its cotton weaving heritage, its canal and Burnley Football Club. Burnley is served by Burnley Manchester Road and Burnley Central stations and sits just off the M65 motorway. For portraits away from the celebration, Towneley Park, the parkland and gardens surrounding Towneley Hall works beautifully, and Towneley Hall, a historic manor house set in parkland on the eastern edge of the town adds a real sense of place.

What we offer
Beautifully bound albums built around the thali tying and the muhurtham, to pass down the family.
A sneak preview of the muhurtham soon after the wedding, with your full gallery and album to follow.
The gentle swing ceremony, the songs and the rice balls warding off the evil eye, captured with a warm eye.
Every tradition
We know the order of the mandapam rituals by heart, so we are always in position. The ammi midithal and the paalikai each have their place, and we capture them as they happen. The nadaswaram and thavil announce the sacred moments, and we are in position when they sound.
We capture the family moments around the bride and groom, not just the rituals. The reception portraits and the receiving line are covered to the very last guest. The oonjal swing, the singing and the rice balls offered to the couple are full of family warmth.

The whole celebration
The early events are full of warmth and laughter, and we photograph them with the same care as the ceremony. A multi-day Tamil wedding can run across two or three days, and we plan our coverage around all of them.
From the early-morning preparations to the reception, we give every part of the day the same care. We always recommend a little time for couple portraits, often away from the bustle of the mandapam.
Why choose us
We have photographed South Indian mandapam ceremonies across the country for more than two decades. Our experience across Iyer, Iyengar and Sri Lankan Tamil weddings runs deep.
We cover the whole of the UK for Tamil weddings, so distance never stands between us and your muhurtham. We photograph Tamil weddings throughout the North of England, and Burnley is firmly within the area we cover.

Where we travel
We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us to temples and mandapams across the North of England. From London we reach Burnley easily, and we know the kalyana mandapams of Lancashire well.
