Serving Esher
Esher is an affluent Surrey town with grand venues. Your celebration in Walton-on-Thames, Cobham and Thames Ditton is in experienced hands, from the early muhurtham to the last dance. We photograph at temples, kalyana mandapams and banqueting halls right across Surrey.
We anticipate each ritual, so the kashi yatra, the oonjal and the saptapadi are never missed. We take the time beforehand to understand your customs and the order of the mandapam rituals. We follow your family's customs closely, Iyer, Iyengar or Sri Lankan Tamil, and photograph them exactly as you keep them.
Whether your celebration is in Esher itself or elsewhere in Surrey, we plan travel and timings with care. Esher is an affluent Surrey town with grand venues. We also photograph in nearby Cobham and Leatherhead. Esher and the towns around it offer venues such as Sandown Park Racecourse, Painshill Park and Oatlands Park Hotel, all familiar to us.
Esher is an affluent town in the Elmbridge district of Surrey, historically a stagecoach stop on the old London to Portsmouth road, now the A3. Esher railway station on the South West Main Line, about 14 miles from London Waterloo, served by South Western Railway. We often take couples to Claremont Landscape Garden, a National Trust garden with a turf amphitheatre and serpentine lake just outside Esher for a few quiet portraits, and Sandown Park Racecourse, a well known horse racing venue in Esher is a lovely backdrop nearby.

What we offer
A sneak preview of the muhurtham soon after the wedding, with your full gallery and album to follow.
The seven steps the couple take together around the homam, photographed as the marriage is sealed.
The tying of the thali to the sound of the nadaswaram, the heart of the wedding, captured with reverence.
Every tradition
For Iyer and Iyengar families, we know the rituals and their timing and photograph each as you keep it. The nadaswaram and thavil announce the sacred moments, and we are in position when they sound. The most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance with a quiet long lens.
We are glad to cover a single event or the whole multi-day celebration. The nadaswaram and thavil players fill the venue with music, and we photograph them at work. We photograph the maalai maatral, the exchange of garlands, with all of its energy and laughter.

The whole celebration
We tailor the hours to your events, whether it is one key day or a long weekend of celebrations. Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours.
From the early-morning preparations to the reception, we give every part of the day the same care. The best galleries are spread evenly across the day, not saved for the thali tying alone.
Why choose us
Over a thousand celebrations have taught us when to step close to the thali tying and when to stand quietly back. We understand how much the thali tying means, and we photograph it with the care it deserves.
We cover the Home Counties and beyond, and are glad to travel further afield for the muhurtham on request. We cover the whole of the UK for Tamil weddings, so distance never stands between us and your muhurtham.

Where we travel
From London we reach Esher easily, and we know the kalyana mandapams of Surrey well. We are glad to discuss your temple, your mandapam and the journey between your venues when you enquire.

Yes. We travel to Esher and across Surrey for Tamil and South Indian weddings. The muhurtham, the mandapam rituals and the many surrounding events are a speciality, and distance is never a problem for a London-based team used to travelling.
Of course. We regularly photograph fusion and mixed-faith weddings in Esher, blending South Indian traditions with another family's customs with care, so both sides of the family see their day told faithfully and beautifully.
