The kashi yatra, the groom's playful mock-pilgrimage, opens the ceremony with laughter, and we are ready for it. We anticipate the muhurtham, the auspicious hour that sets the pace of the whole ceremony. We photograph the kanyadaanam, the giving away of the bride, at the mandapam with quiet care.

We photograph the maalai maatral, the exchange of garlands, with all of its energy and laughter. The reception portraits and the receiving line are covered to the very last guest. The grihapravesam welcomes the bride into her new home, and we are there for it.
