Tamil wedding photography is usually priced by the length and number of events you want covered, not a fixed rate. A single ceremony day costs less than full multi-day coverage with a second photographer and an album. Tell us your plans and we will send a clear, itemised quote.

Do you travel across the UK for Tamil weddings?

Yes. We are based in Northwood in north west London and travel throughout the UK for Tamil weddings, from London and the Home Counties to Leicester, Birmingham and further. Distance is never a problem, and travel is simply built into your quote where needed.

Can you cover a multi-day Tamil celebration?

Absolutely. Many Tamil weddings run across several days, from the nichayathartham and sumangali prarthanai to the mehndi, the ceremony and the reception. We photograph every event you wish covered, planning the timings with you so the whole story is told from start to finish.

Do you provide a second or female photographer?

Yes. A second photographer is available for larger weddings, so two rooms or fast simultaneous moments are never missed, and a female photographer can be arranged on request. Let us know your guest numbers and venue and we will recommend the right team for your day.

Which Tamil sub-traditions do you photograph?

We photograph Iyer, Iyengar and Sri Lankan Tamil weddings, and we understand that the rituals and their order vary between families and priests. We always confirm your exact sequence beforehand, so we are ready for the customs your family keeps rather than assuming a single template.

How far ahead should we book?

The sooner the better, as popular dates and kalyana mandapam venues are taken well in advance, especially in the summer and around festival seasons. Once your muhurtham date is set we recommend enquiring straight away so we can hold the date for you.

Do you produce albums?

Yes. We design hand-finished, fine-art albums that turn your gallery into an heirloom to pass down through the family. After the wedding we help you choose the images, then craft the album for you. You also receive your full set of edited, high-resolution photographs.

Do you work to the early-morning muhurtham timing?

Yes, and it is central to how we plan. Because the muhurtham often falls soon after sunrise, we arrive early, scout the light in advance and stay close for the thali tying and saptapadi. Your ceremony is never rushed to fit the camera, we fit the camera to your timing.

That window is often early in the morning, so the most important moments, the tying of the thali and the saptapadi, can happen soon after sunrise. We plan every wedding around that timing, arriving early and ready, so the photographs of the muhurtham are calm and unhurried rather than rushed.

Over twenty-five years and more than 1,200 weddings, we have photographed Iyer, Iyengar and Sri Lankan Tamil families, in temples and in kalyana mandapam halls across London and the UK.
