We are ready for the giving of the sindoor and the tying of the mangalsutra. We photograph the mangalsutra and sindoor, the signs of the new marriage, with tenderness. The varmala and the madhuparka each have their place, and we capture them as they happen.

The day often opens with a Ganesh puja for an auspicious start, and we are there for it. The mehndi night, the sangeet and the haldi each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all. We capture the groom's arrival in procession, on a horse or in a car, surrounded by dancing family.
