The Baraat
The dhol, the dancing and the groom's joyful arrival, photographed with all of its energy.
Gujarati and Hindu wedding photography in Reading, from the groom's baraat and the milni to the pheras and the vidaai, captured as it happens and never staged.
Serving Reading
Reading is a large town with a diverse community and riverside venues. We travel throughout Berkshire for mandap ceremonies, and Woodley, Tilehurst and Wokingham are all familiar to us. Whether your mandap is in Reading itself or elsewhere across Berkshire, we plan the day around your venues.
We are a reassuring, familiar presence, so everyone relaxes and the day flows naturally. We balance documentary coverage with a few quiet portraits, so your album holds both energy and elegance. We arrive early, stay late and keep pace with every part of the celebration.
We travel throughout Berkshire for mandap ceremonies, and Reading is one we know well. We also photograph in nearby Maidenhead and Windsor.

What we offer
The dhol, the dancing and the groom's joyful arrival, photographed with all of its energy.
The speeches, the first dance and the bhangra, captured to the very last guest.
From the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and saptapadi around the agni, every ritual and its timing understood.
Every tradition
The pheras around the agni, each carrying a vow, are the heart of the ceremony, and we capture them close. The jaimala, when the couple exchange garlands, is a moment of pure joy we love to photograph. The blessings of the elders and the ashirwad close the ceremony, and we capture them with warmth.
For Gujarati families, we know the mandvo, the grah shanti and the pithi, and photograph each with care. The reception is the joyful finale, with speeches, the first dance and the bhangra. The sangeet is an evening of music and dance, and we capture all of its energy.

The whole celebration
The haldi and mehndi are intimate, colourful gatherings that set the tone for everything to come. We can join you for a single event or follow the whole journey from the very first ritual.
For the busiest days, a second photographer covers two moments at once, the baraat and the bridal prep. From the baraat to the last guest, we follow the whole day at its own pace.
Why choose us
We understand how much the day means, and we photograph it with the care it deserves. We have photographed Hindu weddings across the country for more than two decades.
We will travel to your mandap, your reception and your pre-wedding events, wherever they are held. We are London-based but rarely in London; much of our work takes us across the Home Counties.

Where we travel
From our London base, Reading and the rest of Berkshire are an easy, familiar journey. Wherever your events take place across the Home Counties, we will be there in good time.
