Pre-Wedding Events
The haldi, mehndi and sangeet, where the warmest, most natural moments often happen.
Timeless Hindu wedding photography in Slough, covering the haldi, the mehndi, the sangeet and the mandap in full, with calm, storytelling coverage and fine-art albums.
Serving Slough
Slough is a town with one of the country's largest South Asian communities, with many gurdwaras, temples, mosques and banqueting halls. We travel throughout Berkshire for mandap ceremonies, and Langley, Burnham and Windsor are all familiar to us. From Slough we cover weddings right across Berkshire, at temples, hotels, marquees and banqueting suites.
We anticipate each ritual, so the jaimala, the pheras and the saptapadi are never missed. We are a reassuring, familiar presence, so everyone relaxes and the day flows naturally. We arrive early, stay late and keep pace with every part of the celebration.
We are often in Slough for Hindu weddings, and from London the area, taking in Langley, Burnham and Windsor, is an easy journey. We also photograph in nearby Reading and Maidenhead.

What we offer
The haldi, mehndi and sangeet, where the warmest, most natural moments often happen.
Beautifully bound albums and fine prints designed around your favourite images.
Gujarati, Punjabi, Marwari and North Indian Hindu weddings, with the customs understood.
Every tradition
The saptapadi, the seven steps the couple take together, seals the marriage, and we photograph it with reverence. We are ready for the giving of the sindoor and the tying of the mangalsutra. The most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance with a quiet long lens.
The mehndi is intimate and detailed, and we photograph both the henna and the laughter around it. The griha pravesh welcomes the bride into her new home, and we are there for it. The haldi is full of colour and play, and often holds the warmest, most natural moments.

The whole celebration
The days before the wedding often hold the most relaxed, candid moments of the whole celebration. Many Hindu weddings begin days before the wedding with the Ganesh puja, the haldi and a mehndi.
Just fifteen minutes is enough for a handful of timeless portraits near your venue. We always recommend a little time for couple portraits, often at golden hour, away from the bustle.
