The short answer
An award winning, London based Asian wedding photographer, Kaushik Bathia has spent more than twenty five years photographing Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Gujarati and Tamil weddings in Kingsbury and across Greater London. We photograph the elders and the children as closely as the couple, because a wedding is the whole family gathered, not just the two people at the centre. From the mehndi and sangeet to the baraat, the ceremony and the reception, we photograph every part of an Asian wedding in and around Kingsbury with knowledge and care. More than a thousand celebrations sit behind us, and that depth means we recognise the mangalsutra moment, the fourth laav or the signing of the nikah before it arrives. A second photographer for the busiest days, a female photographer where needed and beautiful fine art albums are all part of what we offer, and we travel throughout Greater London for your wedding.
Serving Kingsbury
Kingsbury is a north-west London area rich in temples and gurdwaras. Asian families throughout Kenton, Queensbury and Wembley trust us with their celebrations, large and small. For Gujarati families we know the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras and photograph each as you keep it.
We photograph with warmth and respect, mindful of the meaning behind each ritual across every faith. We document each event as it happens, so your gallery feels true to the day you lived. We arrive early, stay late and keep pace with every part of the celebration.
Kingsbury is a north-west London area rich in temples and gurdwaras, and we love photographing Asian weddings among its community, having worked here across every tradition. We regularly cover Hendon and Edgware nearby as well. Local wedding venues we know near Kingsbury include The Clay Oven, Wembley International Hotel and The Drum at Wembley.
Kingsbury is a north-west London area in the London Borough of Brent that is rich in temples and gurdwaras. Kingsbury station is on the Jubilee line between Queensbury and Wembley Park. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Barn Hill Open Space within Fryent Country Park, and Fryent Country Park, considered the best surviving example of Middlesex countryside in the Brent basin gives the day a strong sense of Kingsbury.

What we offer
The speeches, the first dance and the bhangra, captured to the very last guest.
The muhurtham and the tying of the thali, captured with care and respect.
At home with the mandap, the pheras, the pithi and the hastamelap.
Every tradition
As the sindoor is applied and the mangalsutra tied, a Hindu marriage is complete, and we are ready for both of those small, fast gestures. At a Muslim nikah we photograph the vows, the mehr and the joyful moment the couple are declared married. We know the order of the rituals in each tradition, so we are always in position.
We document the engagement and pre-wedding events that begin the journey, when families ask us. Preparations hold a quiet anticipation of their own, and we photograph the jewellery, the tying of the turban and the last still moments before the day begins. The bhangra and the dancing carry the reception late into the night, and we stay for all of it.

The whole celebration
Sangeet nights belong to the aunties and uncles who have been rehearsing for weeks, and we make sure their performances are held properly, not lost in the noise of the crowd. For large pre-wedding gatherings a second photographer makes sure two moments at once are captured.
We deliver a full day evenly, from the first ritual to the last song, so your album carries the real shape of the celebration rather than only its brightest half-hour. From the morning preparations to the final dance, we give every part of the day the same care.
Why choose us
We bring the steadiness that only comes from photographing weddings for twenty-five years. We understand how much the day means, and we photograph it with the care it deserves.
Much of our work takes us well beyond London, and the venues of Greater London are journeys we make gladly and often. Multi-venue days are never an issue; we plan the route and the timings in advance.

Where we travel
We cover the whole of the UK for Asian weddings, so wherever your family gathers, distance is never the reason to look elsewhere. We are glad to discuss your venues and the journey between them when you enquire.

Good to know
We craft fine-art albums made to endure, with thick pages and archival printing that does justice to the richness of an Asian wedding. The story is laid out across your days, and we share a proof with you before anything goes to print, so every spread reflects your family and your celebration.
We cover Greater London and travel right across the UK, so the venues near Kingsbury are likely already known to us, and we are always pleased to add a new one to our list. Where we have not shot before, we research the space thoroughly and arrive early to plan our coverage.
We are. The importance of the muhurtham timing and the tying of the thali is well understood by us, as are the surrounding customs that give a Tamil ceremony its distinct character. That familiarity means we are poised at the right instant, so the pictures carry the true weight of each ritual.
From our London base, Kingsbury and its neighbouring towns are a straightforward journey we make often. In us you have a seasoned Asian wedding specialist, at ease across every tradition, familiar with the local venues and ready to travel to you without complication.
Absolutely. The baraat is one of the liveliest parts of the day, whether the groom arrives on a horse, in an open car or on foot amid dhol drummers through the streets of Kingsbury. We move with the procession to catch the dancing and the greeting, keeping our footing so no moment is lost.
Yes, happily. Specialising in Asian weddings across all traditions, we regularly reach Kingsbury for Hindu, Sikh, Gujarati, Muslim and Tamil celebrations alike. Our London base and long habit of travelling to venues near and far mean the distance is never an obstacle for us.
Our approach is documentary at heart. We follow the day as it happens, recording the rituals, the emotion and the small in-between moments rather than interrupting them. We will guide you gently for family groups and a few portraits, but the story of the day is told honestly.
