Serving Edgware
Edgware is a north London suburb with a strong Hindu and Jewish community. We photograph Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Gujarati and Tamil weddings throughout Burnt Oak, Stanmore and Mill Hill and the surrounding towns. Whether your ceremony is in Edgware itself or elsewhere across Greater London, we plan the day around your venues.
We follow your family's customs closely and photograph them exactly as you keep them. We are calm and unhurried, gathering the whole story without ever getting in the way. We photograph the small moments as carefully as the grand ones, the glances as well as the rituals.
We have photographed Asian weddings throughout Burnt Oak, Stanmore and Mill Hill for many years, and Edgware, a north London suburb with a strong Hindu and Jewish community, is a familiar and welcome destination. We also cover nearby Stanmore and Pinner. We are at home at Edgware-area venues such as Zareen Banqueting, The Hive London and Sangam Banqueting.
Edgware is a north London suburb in the London Borough of Barnet with a strong Hindu and Jewish community. Edgware station is the northern terminus of the Edgware branch of the Northern line. For portraits away from the celebration, Canons Park, a Grade II registered historic park near Edgware works beautifully, and Edgware Underground station, a neo-Georgian 1924 building by Stanley Heaps adds a real sense of place.

What we offer
Respectful, unobtrusive coverage in temples, gurdwaras and mosques.
Hand-finished albums that hold the whole story of your Asian celebration.
Mehndi, sangeet, ceremony and reception across several days, with second photographers for large events.
Every tradition
The blessings of the elders close many ceremonies, and we capture them with warmth. We are ready for the giving of the sindoor and the tying of the mangalsutra at a Hindu ceremony. At a Muslim wedding, the nikah and the signing of the contract carry great dignity, and we cover them with respect.
The mehndi night, the sangeet and the haldi each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all. The haldi or pithi is full of colour and play, and often holds the warmest, most natural moments. The farewell, when the bride leaves her family, is the most tender moment of many Asian weddings.

The whole celebration
Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events across several faiths' customs; we shape coverage to yours. The sangeet brings an evening of rehearsed dances and late-night music before the wedding day itself.
The best galleries are spread evenly across the day, not saved for the ceremony alone. We know the order and timing of each tradition's wedding day, so we are always in position.
Why choose us
We know the rhythm of a mandap, a gurdwara and a nikah alike, so the sacred moments are always captured. We are trusted with celebrations of every size, from intimate ceremonies to several hundred guests.
We are glad to discuss your venues and the journey between them when you enquire. We photograph across Greater London regularly, and travelling to Edgware is second nature.

Where we travel
Distance is never a problem; travelling to your venues is simply part of how we work. We are used to celebrations spread across several venues, and keep the day flowing between them.

Good to know
Yes. Twenty-five years across Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Gujarati and Tamil weddings mean we know each tradition's order of events, so we are always in position for the moments that matter.
Yes. We photograph the Anand Karaj and the four laavan in the gurdwara with the calm the Guru Granth Sahib deserves, and we know the milni and the reception that surround it.
Yes, and it is one of our favourite parts of the day. We capture the dhol, the dancing and the groom's arrival, and the milni as the two families meet, with all of its energy.
Most Asian weddings run from the morning preparations through to the reception, so full-day coverage works best and captures the whole story. For multi-day celebrations we tailor the hours to your events, and can cover a single key day or a long weekend from beginning to end.
Very. We photograph the vows and the sacred rituals from a respectful distance with quiet, long-lens work, whatever the tradition, so the ceremony is never disturbed. Our documentary style means the day feels like yours, and we are a calm, unobtrusive presence throughout.
