Documenting Asian weddings in Eastcote

Eastcote is a leafy Hillingdon suburb. Across Greater London, including Pinner, Hatch End, we photograph the colour and devotion of every Asian tradition. From grand banqueting suites to intimate temple ceremonies, we are at home everywhere across Greater London.

We are at ease with large, multi-day celebrations and intimate ceremonies alike. We document each event as it happens, so your gallery feels true to the day you lived. We capture the emotion of the day honestly, from the laughter of the sangeet to the tears of the farewell.

From the mehndi to the reception, we keep the day flowing across Greater London, and Eastcote, a leafy Hillingdon suburb, is firmly within our patch. We also photograph in nearby Enfield and Greenwich. Around Eastcote we regularly photograph at The Cavendish, Venue 5 and The Great Barn, among others.

Eastcote is a leafy Hillingdon suburb with an interwar residential character and a small parade of shops around Field End Road. Eastcote Underground station serves both the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines in Zone 5. We often take couples to Eastcote House Gardens, a restored walled garden and green open space for a few quiet portraits, and The Grade II listed Eastcote station by architect Charles Holden is a lovely backdrop nearby.

Every tradition

Hindu, Sikh, Gujarati, Muslim and Tamil weddings

For Gujarati families we know the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras and photograph each as you keep it. We know the order of the rituals in each tradition, so we are always in position. At a Muslim wedding, the nikah and the signing of the contract carry great dignity, and we cover them with respect.

The reception is the joyful finale, with speeches, the first dance and the bhangra. We document the engagement and pre-wedding events that begin the journey, when families ask us. The dhol and dancing of the baraat are pure joy, and we capture every bit of the energy.

The whole celebration

From the first ritual to the final dance

We can join you for a single event or follow the whole journey from the very first ritual. For large pre-wedding gatherings a second photographer makes sure two moments at once are captured.

Whether the ceremony and reception are on the same day or spread across a weekend, we plan for it. On the wedding day, the baraat, the ceremony and the vows build to the farewell and the reception.
