We often take couples to Eastcote House Gardens, a restored walled garden and green open space for a few quiet portraits, and The Grade II listed Eastcote station by architect Charles Holden is a lovely backdrop nearby.

Hindu, Sikh, Gujarati, Muslim and Tamil weddings

For Gujarati families we know the hastamelap and the four mangal pheras and photograph each as you keep it. We know the order of the rituals in each tradition, so we are always in position. At a Muslim wedding, the nikah and the signing of the contract carry great dignity, and we cover them with respect.

The reception is the joyful finale, with speeches, the first dance and the bhangra. We document the engagement and pre-wedding events that begin the journey, when families ask us. The dhol and dancing of the baraat are pure joy, and we capture every bit of the energy.
