Three dates, two buildings, one gallery. The last of those is the difficult one: rooms shot days apart under unrelated lighting have to finish as one wedding, not three separate jobs. Matching white balance and exposure across events does most of that work, and keeping the same team throughout does the remainder. Different photographers on different days will not get you there, however capable each of them is on their own day.

For each family there is a single moment the day rests on, and it differs every time. A daughter handed to another family. A signature witnessed twice. Four slow circuits walked in verse. Second and third days are usually harder than the first. Energy drops, daylight has gone, and a hall that looked generous when empty is now solid with round tables.
