We keep our distance during the most solemn moments and step in only for the joyful ones. We know the order of the rituals in each tradition, so we are always in position. The most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance with a quiet long lens.

We photograph the bridal and groom's preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye. We capture the lively baraat as the groom arrives, with the dhol, the dancing and the milni. For Gujarati families the garba and the raas fill the evening with colour and movement, and we love photographing them.
