Serving Westminster
Asian Wedding Photography Rooted in Westminster
Three dates, two buildings, one gallery. The last of those is the difficult one: rooms shot days apart under unrelated lighting have to finish as one wedding, not three separate jobs. Matching white balance and exposure across events does most of that work, and keeping the same team throughout does the remainder. Different photographers on different days will not get you there, however capable each of them is on their own day.
Westminster tightens the intervals. Proximity here looks helpful until the stairs, the lifts and the turnaround of a room are counted in. Our schedule starts with the gaps and fits the events into what remains, since gaps are where a timeline breaks. Within the borough that covers One Whitehall Place, One Great George Street, Raffles London at The OWO, with St James's Park for portraits that want air.

Every tradition
One studio, every Asian tradition
For each family there is a single moment the day rests on, and it differs every time. A daughter handed to another family. A signature witnessed twice. Four slow circuits walked in verse. We need no explanation of any of them, and we shoot none of them as a version of the others. The one question worth asking is where the room's authority sits, since that fixes where a camera belongs.
Second and third days are usually harder than the first. Energy drops, daylight has gone, and a hall that looked generous when empty is now solid with round tables. Coverage shifts to match: tighter framing, more of the room lit by us, less reliance on windows that stopped helping hours ago. An evening of music wants nothing like the treatment the ceremony got, and a mehndi wants something different again. A plan made only for day one does not survive day three.

Why choose us
Why Documentary Coverage Serves You Better
Documentary is not a preference here. It is what survives a day that nobody is actually in charge of. Posed coverage requires the room to stop, and across three days in two buildings the room never stops. So we photograph what is happening instead of arranging what ought to be.

Kaushik Bathia founded the studio in 2001. More than a thousand weddings later he holds five European Gold awards and fellowships of the BIPP and the MPA.

Asian weddings in Westminster, FAQs
Yes, on whatever terms the building sets. Each has its own expectations about footwear, heads and which directions a lens may face. Flash, too, is theirs to permit or refuse. We ask beforehand and comply, unsupervised.
As soon as the first venue is confirmed. Multi-day coverage takes more than a Saturday off the calendar, so it fills earlier than single-day work, and a Westminster weekend goes quickly in any case.
Days and buildings decide it, and no headline figure would be honest about either. Send a running order, however rough, and the number that comes back will match the wedding you are actually having rather than an average of other people's.
Because the difficulties here are London difficulties: loading bays, lifts, mixed lighting and rooms let by the hour. A photographer based in the city treats those as ordinary conditions rather than as surprises to be solved on the morning.
Yes, and on the terms any other tradition gets. We ask what the family wants photographed before assuming, a segregated layout is planned for in advance, and a female photographer takes the women's side wherever that is requested.
