Sikh wedding coverage in Eastcote

Eastcote is a leafy Hillingdon suburb. From grand banqueting venues to the calm of the darbar sahib, we are at home everywhere across Pinner, Hatch End. We photograph at gurdwaras, banqueting halls and marquees right across Greater London.

We bring a long lens and a light touch, so the four laavan are captured from the sides of the gurdwara at a respectful distance. We let the Anand Karaj unfold at its own pace and meet the four laavan with a quiet, watchful eye. We photograph the small moments as carefully as the grand ones, the choora and kaleere as well as the four laavan.

Couples come to us from right across London and the surrounding area, and Eastcote is firmly on our patch. Eastcote is a leafy Hillingdon suburb, and we know its gurdwaras well. We also cover nearby Enfield and Greenwich. We are at home at Eastcote-area venues such as The Cavendish, Venue 5 and The Great Barn.

Eastcote is a leafy Hillingdon suburb with an interwar residential character and a small parade of shops around Field End Road. Eastcote Underground station serves both the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines in Zone 5. We often take couples to Eastcote House Gardens, a restored walled garden and green open space for a few quiet portraits, and The Grade II listed Eastcote station by architect Charles Holden is a lovely backdrop nearby.

What we offer

Sikh wedding coverage in Eastcote

01

Second Photographers

For large gurdwara days, a second shooter covers the milni and the bridal prep at once.

02

Multi-Day Celebrations

From the Akhand Path and maiyan to the doli, every day of the Sikh celebration covered.

03

The Sehra Bandi

The tying of the groom's turban and sehra before the milni, photographed with all its ceremony.

Every tradition

The rituals that make your day

We are mindful of gurdwara etiquette throughout, never turning our back to the Guru Granth Sahib. The hukamnama, the reading taken after the laavan, closes the ceremony, and we capture it with respect. As the ragis sing each laav, the couple walk slowly around the Guru Granth Sahib, and we photograph it quietly from the side.

The maiyan, when turmeric is applied, is full of colour and play, and often holds the warmest moments. We photograph the sehra bandi, when the groom's turban and sehra are tied, with all its ceremony. We capture the family moments around the bride and groom, not just the rituals.

The whole celebration

Every ritual, across every day

We tailor the hours to your events, whether it is one key day or a long weekend of celebrations. Many Sikh weddings begin days before with the maiyan, the mehndi and a jaggo night.

Just fifteen minutes is enough for a handful of timeless portraits near your venue. We photograph the ceremony, the portraits and the reception in balance, so each is given its due.

Why choose us

A safe pair of hands in Eastcote

We will travel to your gurdwara, your reception and your pre-wedding maiyan and mehndi, wherever they are held. We cover the whole of the UK for Anand Karaj ceremonies, so distance never stands between us and your gurdwara.
