Serving Southwark
Southwark is a historic riverside borough in central London. From grand banqueting venues to the calm of the darbar sahib, we are at home everywhere across Lambeth, Lewisham. We are as at ease with a quiet family langar as we are with a reception of several hundred guests.
We capture the emotion honestly, from the laughter of the jaggo night to the tears of the doli. We read the rhythm of a Sikh celebration and are always in the right place for the milni, the laavan and the doli. We document each event as it happens, from the morning milni to the langar, so your gallery feels true to the day.
Wherever your venues are across Southwark and Greater London, we plan the route and the early gurdwara timings in advance. Southwark is a historic riverside borough in central London. We also photograph in nearby Tower Hamlets and Uxbridge. Venues we have photographed at near Southwark include Dulwich Picture Gallery, Asylum Chapel and Kingswood Arts.
A historic riverside borough in central London known for its cultural quarter along the South Bank and the vibrant Borough Market food scene. Served by London Bridge station and Southwark Underground station on the Jubilee line. We often take couples to Southwark Park, a Victorian park in Rotherhithe with lake and rose garden for a few quiet portraits, and Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe theatre on the Bankside riverfront is a lovely backdrop nearby.

What we offer
Fine prints and framed art of the four laavan and the doli to bring home.

Every tradition
The langar that follows the ceremony, shared by the whole sangat, is a moment of community we capture with warmth. The ardaas and the hukamnama that frame the ceremony are moments of stillness we capture with care. At the heart of a Sikh wedding is the Anand Karaj, the blissful union performed before the Guru Granth Sahib.
We are glad to cover a single event or the whole multi-day celebration. The kaleere tied to the bride's choora carry their own meaning, and we photograph the ritual with care. The jaggo night is an evening of music, dancing and pots lit with candles, and we capture all of its energy.

The whole celebration
The celebration usually builds gradually, from the quiet of a family gathering to the exuberance of the jaggo. We arrive in good time for each pre-wedding event and stay until the celebrations wind down.
We stay through the evening to capture the reception, from the grand entrance to the last dance. We photograph the ceremony, the portraits and the reception in balance, so each is given its due.
Why choose us
Sikh families return to us, and recommend us, because we treat every laav and every ardaas as it deserves. We have built our reputation on reliability, warmth and a genuine love of Sikh weddings and their rituals.
We will travel to your gurdwara, your reception and your pre-wedding maiyan and mehndi, wherever they are held. We photograph across Greater London regularly, and travelling to a gurdwara in Southwark is second nature to us.

Where we travel
From London we reach Southwark easily, and we know the darbar sahib and langar halls of Greater London well. We are glad to discuss your gurdwara, your reception venue and the journey between them when you enquire.
