When karah parshad is brought round at the close, we photograph the cupped hands and the quiet contentment in the hall, the ceremony settling into celebration.

We photograph the doli with quiet care, the rice thrown back over your shoulder, the last embraces with your parents and the car pulling away from the family home. At the reception we photograph the entrance as a highlight, the announcement, the walk in and the cheer as you arrive to bhangra with everyone you love. Khara ceremonies see the bride seated on a low wooden stool while vatna is worked into her arms, and we photograph the hands, the paste and the running commentary from the room.

The results are natural and warm, showing the darbar hall exactly as it looked. We save any additional lighting for the evening reception, where it belongs.
