Each of the laavan is slow, quiet and much like the last, and one camera position turns them into a single photograph repeated. Moving is not an option for us here, so the variation has to be found behind the couple rather than around them, and we read the rows for whatever is shifting there. Milni ran earlier, outdoors and much louder, the first proper meeting of two families. Langar is where performance stops altogether. At either end of all this sit jago the night before and, much later, the doli.
