Serving Hatch End
Hatch End is a village-feel corner of north-west London. Wherever your events are held across Eastcote, North Harrow, we plan the timings and travel with care. From the darbar sahib to the reception floor, we photograph the whole day with a calm, familiar presence.
We capture the emotion honestly, from the laughter of the jaggo night to the tears of the doli. Inside the gurdwara we never turn our back to the Guru Granth Sahib, shooting discreetly from the sides and the back. We anticipate each part of the Anand Karaj, so the milni, the four laavan and the ardaas are never missed.
Hatch End is a village-feel corner of north-west London, and we love photographing Sikh weddings here and across London and the surrounding area. We regularly cover nearby Havering and Hillingdon as well. In and around Hatch End, we have photographed at venues such as Grim's Dyke Hotel and Stanmore Golf Club.
A village-feel corner of Harrow forming the north-eastern part of Pinner, with tree-lined streets and period houses. Served by Hatch End station on the London Overground Lioness line in fare zone 6. We often take couples to Pinner Memorial Park nearby for a few quiet portraits, and Harrow Arts Centre and its Elliott Hall on Uxbridge Road is a lovely backdrop nearby.

What we offer
The vegetarian langar shared by the whole sangat after the Anand Karaj, photographed with warmth.
The four hymns the couple circle the Guru Granth Sahib for, photographed with quiet reverence from the side of the darbar sahib.
Discreet coverage from the sides and back, heads covered, never turning from the Guru Granth Sahib.
Every tradition
We keep our distance during the laavan and the prayers, and step in only for the joyful greetings. We are mindful of gurdwara etiquette throughout, never turning our back to the Guru Granth Sahib. We photograph the milni, the morning meeting of the two families, with all of its warmth and garlands.
The mehndi, the jaggo and the maiyan each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all. The dhol and bhangra of the jaggo are pure joy, and we capture every bit of the energy. The reception is the joyful finale, with speeches, the first dance, bhangra and giddha.

The whole celebration
Some couples keep an elaborate sequence of events; others a simpler one, and we shape coverage to yours. The maiyan and mehndi are intimate, colourful gatherings that set the tone for everything to come.
We stay through the evening to capture the reception, from the grand entrance to the last dance. We capture the reception in full, the speeches, the first dance and the bhangra on the floor.
Why choose us
Our long experience means a calm, capable presence whatever the gurdwara day brings. We bring the steadiness that only comes from photographing the Anand Karaj for twenty-five years.
We are glad to discuss your gurdwara, your reception venue and the journey between them when you enquire. We will travel to your gurdwara, your reception and your pre-wedding maiyan and mehndi, wherever they are held.

Where we travel
We photograph across Greater London regularly, and travelling to a gurdwara in Hatch End is second nature to us. Reaching your gurdwara is simply part of how we work, and distance is never a barrier to covering the milni.

Yes, and it is one of our favourite events. We capture the music, the dancing and the candlelit pots, with all of the energy the jaggo brings.
Yes. Alongside your edited digital gallery we design a hand-finished, fine-art album, so the whole story of your celebration is held in something to pass down.
Yes. The morning milni, when the families meet, and the doli, when the bride departs, are among the most moving moments of the day, and we photograph both with warmth and sensitivity.
Most Sikh weddings run from the morning maiyan or milni through to the reception, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations we tailor the hours to your events.
Yes. A pre-wedding shoot is a lovely way to relax in front of the camera before the big day, and we are happy to arrange one at a location you love.
