Serving Pinner
Pinner is a historic village near Northwood. We are used to multi-venue days throughout Greater London, moving smoothly between Northwood, Eastcote and Hatch End. We cover the whole of London and the surrounding area, and Pinner and the towns around it are well known to us.
We understand the etiquette of the gurdwara and the vegetarian langar, and photograph within it with genuine respect. Inside the gurdwara we never turn our back to the Guru Granth Sahib, shooting discreetly from the sides and the back. We balance documentary coverage with a few quiet portraits, so your album holds both the reverence of the darbar sahib and the energy of the bhangra.
We have photographed Sikh weddings throughout Northwood, Eastcote and Hatch End for many years, and Pinner, a historic village near Northwood, is a familiar and welcome destination. We also cover nearby Ealing and Neasden. Venues we have photographed at near Pinner include The Grange Country House and The Cavendish.
A historic village in the London Borough of Harrow with a preserved High Street and the annual chartered Pinner Fair. Served by Pinner station on the London Underground Metropolitan line. When there is time for couple portraits, Pinner Memorial Park, a twelve acre park with a pond, fountain and mature grounds is a favourite, and West House and the Heath Robinson Museum, set within Pinner Memorial Park makes a memorable setting.

What we offer
The maiyan, mehndi and jaggo night, where the warmest, most natural moments of a Sikh wedding often happen.
The music, the dancing and the candlelit pots of the jaggo, captured with all their energy.
A sneak preview of the Anand Karaj soon after the wedding, with your full gallery to follow.
Every tradition
We photograph the choora and kaleere given to the bride, and the quiet blessings of her elders. We photograph the milni, the morning meeting of the two families, with all of its warmth and garlands. We are ready for the palla, when the bride's father places the sash in the couple's hands before the laavan.
We photograph the chunni ceremony and the giving of the choora, and the emotion that comes with them. We are glad to cover a single event or the whole multi-day celebration. We photograph the bridal preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye.

The whole celebration
A celebration might open with the chunni ceremony, followed by the maiyan and the mehndi. Tell us which events matter most and we will build the coverage around them.
The vegetarian langar follows the ceremony, and we photograph the whole sangat sharing the meal. We photograph the ceremony, the portraits and the reception in balance, so each is given its due.
Why choose us
Decades of gurdwara weddings mean we read the day instinctively and never miss the milni or the doli. Our long experience means a calm, capable presence whatever the gurdwara day brings.
We are glad to discuss your gurdwara, your reception venue and the journey between them when you enquire. We travel happily across Greater London and the neighbouring counties for the maiyan, the Anand Karaj and the doli alike.

Where we travel
We cover the whole of the UK for Anand Karaj ceremonies, so distance never stands between us and your gurdwara. We cover London and the surrounding area and beyond for the darbar sahib and the reception, and are glad to travel further afield on request.

Good to know
Very. We photograph the four laavan and the prayers from a respectful distance with quiet, long-lens work, seated with the sangat, so the Anand Karaj is never disturbed.
Sikh wedding dates and popular gurdwaras book up well ahead, so we recommend enquiring as early as you can. Tell us your wedding date and we will confirm availability straight away.
Yes. We understand that gurdwaras often require an early finish, so the Anand Karaj usually falls in the morning. We plan our coverage around it and always arrive in good time.
Yes. A pre-wedding shoot is a lovely way to relax in front of the camera before the big day, and we are happy to arrange one at a location you love.
You will receive a small preview soon after the day, followed by your full edited gallery. We then design a hand-finished album that holds the whole story of your celebration.
