Serving Bexley
Bexley is a south-east London borough on the Kent border. Couples come to us from across London and the surrounding area, and Greenwich, Bromley are firmly on our patch. Whether your Anand Karaj is in Bexley itself or elsewhere across Greater London, we plan the day around your venues.
We take the time beforehand to understand your family's customs and the order of the maiyan, mehndi and jaggo. We bring a long lens and a light touch, so the four laavan are captured from the sides of the gurdwara at a respectful distance. We are at ease with large, multi-day Sikh celebrations and intimate gurdwara ceremonies alike.
Sikh families across Greenwich, Bromley trust us with their weddings, and Bexley, a south-east London borough on the Kent border, is a place we return to often. We also cover nearby Brent and Bromley. Local Sikh wedding venues we know near Bexley include Danson House and Hall Place and Gardens.
A south-east London borough on the Kent border with a settled suburban character around Bexleyheath and Welling. Bexleyheath station runs to London Charing Cross, with the A2 dual carriageway crossing the borough. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Danson Park in Welling, with its large boating lake and open lawns, and Danson House, a Grade I listed Palladian mansion set within Danson Park gives the day a strong sense of Bexley.

What we offer
The bride's departure from her family home, the most emotional moment of the day, photographed with great sensitivity.
We keep the calm of the darbar sahib and work quietly within gurdwara etiquette.
At home with the sehra bandi, the choora, the kaleere and the energy of the bhangra.
Every tradition
We photograph the milni, the morning meeting of the two families, with all of its warmth and garlands. We photograph the choora and kaleere given to the bride, and the quiet blessings of her elders. The exchange of garlands and the joy of the sangat around the couple are moments we love to photograph.
We photograph the chunni ceremony and the giving of the choora, and the emotion that comes with them. We document the sagai and the engagement that begin the journey, when families ask us. We capture the groom's arrival for the milni, surrounded by dancing family and the beat of the dhol.

The whole celebration
A multi-day Sikh wedding can run across three or four days, and we plan our coverage around all of them. The maiyan and mehndi are intimate, colourful gatherings that set the tone for everything to come.
We document the grand moments and the quiet ones in between, so nothing is lost. We photograph the ceremony, the portraits and the reception in balance, so each is given its due.
Why choose us
Years inside gurdwaras have taught us exactly how to photograph the Anand Karaj respectfully and unseen. Our experience of Punjabi and Sikh weddings, inside the gurdwara and out, runs deep.
We travel happily across Greater London and the neighbouring counties for the maiyan, the Anand Karaj and the doli alike. We are used to Sikh celebrations spread across several venues, and keep the day flowing from the milni to the langar.

Where we travel
Wherever your jaggo and your Anand Karaj take place across London and the surrounding area, we will be there in good time for the morning kirtan. Multi-venue Sikh days are never an issue; we plan the route from the gurdwara to the reception and the timings in advance.

Very. We photograph the four laavan and the prayers from a respectful distance with quiet, long-lens work, seated with the sangat, so the Anand Karaj is never disturbed.
