There is real variety in where our couples marry, from register offices to grand houses and hotel ballrooms, and we photograph every one of them across Eastcote, North Harrow and the wider Greater London. Ceremonies rarely run to the second, so we stay alert throughout, ready for the moments that arrive early, run long or happen when least expected.

Most of the day we work quietly from the edges, watching for the small moments between the big ones and letting them unfold without any nudging from us. You will barely notice us for much of the day, and that is the point; the less we intrude, the more relaxed everyone stays in front of the lens. During the quiet stretches we keep looking for the details you arranged, the flowers, the notes, the table settings, and fit them in without slowing anything down.

Over the years we have grown to know Hatch End and its venues. Hatch End is a village-feel corner of north-west London, and we photograph weddings across the surrounding towns too, from Havering through to Hillingdon. Close to Hatch End, we have worked at venues including Grim's Dyke Hotel and Stanmore Golf Club.

When there is time for couple portraits, Pinner Memorial Park nearby is a favourite, and Harrow Arts Centre and its Elliott Hall on Uxbridge Road makes a memorable setting.

We photograph readings, rings and the signing of the register with a light hand, blending multicultural or fusion elements naturally when they are part of your day. We keep a respectful distance during the vows, using longer lenses so the intimacy of the moment stays between you while we still hold onto every expression.

The drinks reception is where the day loosens and the real laughter starts, so we move through the crowd and photograph the reunions and quiet chats as they happen. Group shots need not be stiff, and we keep them relaxed and quick, gathering families in good humour so nobody stands about waiting in the sun. As the reception gathers pace, we keep moving, finding the hugs between old friends, the children on the dance floor and the quiet corners of joy.
