Oxhey Park, riverside parkland beside the River Colne in Watford, is the outdoor location, and river-edge planting there gives a depth that a flat recreation ground cannot. Metropolitan Bushey and Watford Colosseum are the reception venues and call for quite different lighting, one intimate and one on a civic scale. Access runs through Carpenders Park station on the London Overground Lioness line towards Watford Junction, so London guests can arrive by rail.
