Shenley Park is the more substantial option, with a walled garden, an orchard and open parkland giving three distinct backgrounds inside one boundary, so a full portrait sequence needs no travel at all. Salisbury Hall, a Grade II* listed seventeenth century country house, is the local landmark, while London Shenley Club, at the Shenley Cricket Centre, is licensed for weddings in the village. There is no station in the village, the nearest being Radlett on the Thameslink route, with the A1(M) and M25 close, so guest transport from Ridge, Napsbury and Colney Heath is worth arranging rather than assuming.
