Serving Shenley
Shenley is a village with country-house wedding venues. Hindu families throughout Radlett, Borehamwood and London Colney trust us with their celebrations, large and small. From Shenley we cover weddings right across Hertfordshire, at temples, hotels, marquees and banqueting suites.
We blend candid storytelling with a handful of timeless, beautifully lit portraits. We make sure the families are in the story too, not just the couple. We bring a long lens and a light touch, so the most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance.
We are often in Shenley for Hindu weddings, and from London the area, taking in Radlett, Borehamwood and London Colney, is an easy journey. We also photograph in nearby London Colney and Ware. Venues we have photographed at near Shenley include London Shenley Club and Shenley Cricket Centre.
Shenley is a Hertfordshire village with country-house wedding venues and an unusual eighteenth century village lock-up known as the Cage beside its pond. Shenley lies close to the A1(M) and M25, with the nearest railway station at Radlett on the Thameslink route. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Shenley Park, with its walled garden, orchard and open parkland, and Salisbury Hall, a Grade II* listed country house built in the seventeenth century gives the day a strong sense of Shenley.

What we offer
From the jaimala and kanyadaan to the pheras and saptapadi around the agni, every ritual and its timing understood.
The haldi, mehndi and sangeet, where the warmest, most natural moments often happen.
The milni, the blessings and the ashirwad, so the whole gathering is remembered.
Every tradition
The exchange of garlands high above the guests is a moment of laughter and joy, and we are ready for it. The saptapadi, the seven steps the couple take together, seals the marriage, and we photograph it with reverence. We photograph the couple's first steps as husband and wife around the sacred fire.
The haldi is full of colour and play, and often holds the warmest, most natural moments. The day often opens with a Ganesh puja for an auspicious start, and we are there for it. We are glad to cover a single event or the whole multi-day celebration.

The whole celebration
Many Hindu weddings begin days before the wedding with the Ganesh puja, the haldi and a mehndi. We arrive in good time for each pre-wedding event and stay until the celebrations wind down.
Whether the wedding and reception are on the same day or spread across a weekend, we plan for it. The best galleries are spread evenly across the day, not saved for the pheras alone.
Why choose us
Our long experience means a calm, capable presence whatever the day brings. Experience means we are ready for the muhurat timing, the early starts and the precise order of rituals.
We cover the Home Counties and beyond, and are glad to travel further afield on request. We are glad to discuss your venues and the journey between them when you enquire.

Where we travel
From our London base, Shenley and the rest of Hertfordshire are an easy, familiar journey. We photograph across Hertfordshire regularly, and travelling to Shenley is second nature.

Good to know
Certainly. Mixed-faith and fusion celebrations are familiar to us, and we photograph them with sensitivity, blending Hindu customs with another family's traditions so both feel equally valued and beautifully told throughout the whole of your wedding day.
Certainly. We regularly cover Gujarati, Punjabi, Marwari and North Indian Hindu ceremonies, and because we know how their rituals and their sequence of events vary, we are able to anticipate each moment as your celebration unfolds.
Yes. A pre-wedding or roka shoot is a lovely way to relax in front of the camera before the big day arrives, and we are always happy to arrange one at a location you love, wherever feels right.
Certainly. Beyond the edited digital gallery, we personally design a hand-finished, fine-art album, so that the complete story of your celebration lives on in something you can hold, share and pass down as a keepsake for future generations.
Of course. We would not miss the baraat for anything. From the beat of the dhol and the dancing to the groom's arrival and the warm milni between the two families, we photograph every bit of its energy.
