Serving Welwyn Garden City
Welwyn Garden City is a green garden city with elegant reception venues. Wherever your events are held across Hatfield, Hertford and Stevenage, we plan the timings and travel with care. Whether your mandap is in Welwyn Garden City itself or elsewhere across Hertfordshire, we plan the day around your venues.
We capture the details too, the flowers, the jewellery, the mandap, that make your day yours. We capture the emotion of the day honestly, from the laughter of the sangeet to the tears of the vidaai. We photograph the sacred and the joyful with equal care, the agni as faithfully as the bhangra.
We have photographed Hindu weddings throughout Hatfield, Hertford and Stevenage for many years, and Welwyn Garden City is a familiar and welcome destination. We also cover nearby Hemel Hempstead and Hertford. Venues we know well in and near Welwyn Garden City include The Club at Mill Green, Tewinbury Farm and Best Western Homestead Court Hotel.
Welwyn Garden City was founded in 1920 by Ebenezer Howard as the second garden city, and it is known for its tree-lined boulevards and green open spaces. Welwyn Garden City station is on the Great Northern line to London King's Cross, with the A1(M) on the town's western edge. For pre-wedding and couple portraits, we love spots such as Stanborough Park, a 126 acre park with two lakes, with The former Shredded Wheat Factory, a landmark Art Deco listed building close by for a striking backdrop.

What we offer
Discreet, respectful coverage around the pandit and the sacred fire.
The seven steps around the holy fire and the giving of the sindoor and mangalsutra, captured with reverence.
The dhol, the dancing and the groom's joyful arrival, photographed with all of its energy.
Every tradition
The saptapadi, the seven steps the couple take together, seals the marriage, and we photograph it with reverence. The pheras around the agni, each carrying a vow, are the heart of the ceremony, and we capture them close. We photograph the kanyadaan and the joining of hands at the mandap with quiet care.
We photograph the bridal preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye. The day often opens with a Ganesh puja for an auspicious start, and we are there for it. We capture the family moments around the bride and groom, not just the rituals.

The whole celebration
The sangeet brings an evening of music and dance before the wedding day itself. Many families hold a roka or engagement long before the wedding, and a sangeet the night before.
From the morning preparations to the final dance, we give every part of the day the same care. We keep the day flowing, moving smoothly between the ceremony, the family photos and the reception.
Why choose us
With twenty-five years and over a thousand weddings behind us, nothing about a Hindu ceremony surprises us. Decades of weddings mean we read the day instinctively and never miss the moments that matter.
From our London base, Welwyn Garden City and the rest of Hertfordshire are an easy, familiar journey. We are London-based and travel across Hertfordshire and the wider region for Hindu weddings.

Where we travel
We will travel to your mandap, your reception and your pre-wedding events, wherever they are held. Multi-venue days are never an issue; we plan the route and the timings in advance.

Good to know
Yes. A pre-wedding or roka shoot is a lovely way to relax in front of the camera before the big day arrives, and we are always happy to arrange one at a location you love, wherever feels right.
Because it works in your favour. Our London base puts Welwyn Garden City within easy, familiar reach, so you gain a highly experienced Hindu wedding photographer who comes to you calmly and without fuss, wherever your chosen venue happens to be.
We can, and we always do. At weddings in Welwyn Garden City we respect that the auspicious muhurat governs the timing of the ceremony, and we shape our coverage around it so the pheras and saptapadi are captured calmly at the right moment.
Early enquiries are wise. Because auspicious dates book up long in advance, reaching out sooner rather than later really helps. Let us know when your wedding is and we will come back to you about availability without any delay.
Once the celebration is over, you will get a small preview fairly quickly, then your full edited gallery a little afterwards. Finally we craft a hand-finished album that captures the complete story of your day in one beautiful keepsake.
