The Baraat
The dhol, the dancing and the groom's joyful arrival, photographed with all of its energy.
Hindu wedding photography in Sarratt, capturing the baraat, the jaimala and the sacred pheras around the agni, with warmth, discretion and beautiful albums to keep.
Serving Sarratt
Sarratt is a pretty Chilterns village with a historic green. Hindu families throughout Chorleywood, Chipperfield and Rickmansworth trust us with their celebrations, large and small. From Sarratt we cover weddings right across Hertfordshire, at temples, hotels, marquees and banqueting suites.
We capture the emotion of the day honestly, from the laughter of the sangeet to the tears of the vidaai. We are at ease with large, multi-day celebrations and intimate ceremonies alike. We are a reassuring, familiar presence, so everyone relaxes and the day flows naturally.
Hindu families across Chorleywood, Chipperfield and Rickmansworth trust us with their weddings, and Sarratt, a pretty Chilterns village with a historic green, is a place we return to often. We also cover nearby Knebworth and Welwyn.

What we offer
The dhol, the dancing and the groom's joyful arrival, photographed with all of its energy.
Gujarati, Punjabi, Marwari and North Indian Hindu weddings, with the customs understood.
The speeches, the first dance and the bhangra, captured to the very last guest.
Every tradition
We are mindful of every family's customs at the mandap, Gujarati, Punjabi, Marwari or North Indian. From the kanyadaan to the saptapadi, the ceremony tells its own story, and we follow it closely. We photograph the lighting of the havan and the blessings of the pandit with respect.
The mehndi night, the sangeet and the haldi each carry their own mood, and we photograph them all. We photograph the milni, when the two families meet, with all of its warmth. The sangeet is an evening of music and dance, and we capture all of its energy.

The whole celebration
A Gujarati celebration might open with the mandvo and grah shanti, followed by the pithi. Many Hindu weddings begin days before the wedding with the Ganesh puja, the haldi and a mehndi.
The wedding day itself is a journey, from the groom's baraat and the milni to the pheras and the vidaai. From the morning preparations to the final dance, we give every part of the day the same care.
Why choose us
Twenty-five years behind the lens means we know exactly what comes next in the order of the day. With twenty-five years and over a thousand weddings behind us, nothing about a Hindu ceremony surprises us.
We photograph weddings throughout the Home Counties, and Sarratt is firmly within the area we cover. Distance is never a problem; travelling to your venues is simply part of how we work.

Where we travel
We photograph across Hertfordshire regularly, and travelling to Sarratt is second nature. We cover the Home Counties and beyond, and are glad to travel further afield on request.
