Serving Sarratt
Commercial work in Sarratt happens at your premises, with Kings Langley, Bovingdon and Flaunden covered under the same arrangement. Typical bookings are a set of staff portraits, a handful of interiors and some pictures of work going on, all inside one visit. The kit travels by van, so a village address with no good window and nowhere obvious to hang a light is not an obstacle.
One practical rule: the people go first. Faces are the part that keeps everybody standing about, so releasing the team early lets the rooms and the working pictures be made at whatever pace they need.

What we offer
Staff portraits, interiors and working pictures for Sarratt businesses, all done inside a single visit to you.
We carry our own lighting, so a dark back room or a grey Chilterns morning stops mattering.
One arrangement across the whole team, so the staff page reads as one job rather than a collection.
Why choose us
We turn up ahead of the schedule, set up wherever there is most clear floor, and photograph individuals as they become free, so nobody writes off a morning waiting for a turn. A grey Chilterns sky changes none of it, since none of the light is borrowed from outside.
Afterwards you receive a licensed set, cleared for your own site, print and social use, delivered at sizes that load fast on a phone and still enlarge properly for a wall or an exhibition panel.

Good to know
Fast, in most cases. Because a product launch or website relaunch will not wait, we aim to have commercial galleries ready within a few days for our Sarratt clients. Files come online in both web and print sizes, and we can prioritise urgent jobs on request.
Yes, and it is one of our favourite kinds of work. We style each dish and drink and shoot it fresh, so the picture looks every bit as tempting as the plate. Finished images come ready for menus, delivery apps, your website and social channels. We cover Sarratt and nearby Kings Langley, Bovingdon and Flaunden.
A clear idea of how you will use the images helps most, along with any brand guidelines, a rough shot list and the products, dishes or people involved. We will talk it through beforehand, agree a plan and handle the rest on the day. Around Sarratt we plan for landmarks such as The Church of the Holy Cross, a flint and brick church founded around 1190.
Yes, always. Each commercial image is colour-corrected, retouched and given a background clean-up before delivery, so nothing needs extra work at your end. We tidy product backgrounds and remove marks, and we keep headshot retouching subtle so people still look like themselves. Open air sessions near Sarratt can use The Chess Valley and Sarratt Bottom, a chalk stream landscape in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Yes. We shoot clean, pure-white-background product images that meet the requirements of Amazon, eBay and other marketplaces, as well as your own online shop. Each item is lit evenly and colour-checked, so your listings look sharp, professional and consistent. Sarratt is served by nearby Chorleywood and Rickmansworth stations on the Metropolitan line, and lies close to junction 18 of the M25. Commercial photography in a village is a logistics question before it is a lighting one, and in Sarratt the logistics are unusually kind. Junction 18 of the M25 is close, so a vehicle loaded with stands, heads and modifiers reaches an address without difficulty, and that in turn means premises do not need generous windows or a large room to photograph well, since the light is not being looked for on site. What is needed is somewhere to stand a light and a socket that works. The frame that genuinely sells a business here usually has to show where it is. A tight crop of hands at work could have been made on an industrial estate anywhere in the country. That argues for wider frames, and wider frames in small rooms are a lighting problem, because the back wall is in shot. Light only the person and the depth of the room goes black, which reads as a snapshot with a flash on it. Placing the main light so it also reaches the rear wall costs one extra stand and converts a cramped room into a place. Exteriors set the timetable. A building faces the way it faces and takes direct sun across part of a day only, so the outside frame is fixed first and the indoor work fits around it, never the reverse. On a flat grey day that constraint vanishes and everything else gets easier, which is why a dull forecast is no reason to postpone.
