Hunton Park sits in 22 acres of Hertfordshire countryside, reached up a sweeping driveway to a Queen Anne mansion house. Its link to Asian catering is unusual: Clay Oven, which the venue calls its sister company, says it acquired Hunton Park in 2022, runs a page branded Hunton Park by Clay Oven and describes itself as the number one Asian wedding caterer in London for Indian weddings.

Hunton Park package rates for 2026 to 2028

Hunton Park publishes per-person package rates in its April 2026 wedding inserts, covering 2026, 2027 and 2028. All prices include VAT, with a minimum of 60 day guests.

Pearl package, Saturday: £147 (2026 peak) or £137 (2026 off-peak), £152 or £142 in 2027 and 2028. Fridays and Sunday to Thursday are lower. Extra evening guests from £15.
Gold package, Saturday: £174 or £164 in 2026, £181 or £171 in 2027 and 2028. Extra evening guests from £20.
Diamond package, Saturday: £215 or £205 in 2026, £220 or £210 in 2027 and 2028. Extra evening guests from £25.
Ceremony room hire: £550 on Fridays and Saturdays, £450 Sunday to Thursday.

For small weddings, the intimate weddings page lists an Oh So Simple package from £3,465 and an Effortless package from £3,795, each for 30 day guests, with no year stated. Weddings between 27 and 31 December 2026 or 2027 receive a complimentary £500 bar tab, according to the Christmas and New Year page. Confirm current rates when you enquire.

Clay Oven, the preferred caterers and the questions to ask

The 2026 inserts list three licensed ceremony spaces: the Orangery for 60, the Hazlewood Suite for 175 and the Ornamental Gardens for 175, weather permitting. Other pages on the venue's own site give slightly different numbers, so confirm the figure for your space. The registrar is booked separately through Watford Register Office.

Catering is the venue's strongest published point for Asian weddings: it caters for a wide range of cuisines, works with a list of preferred caterers and names Clay Oven as its sister company. The rules that older guides quoted, on confetti, candles, fireworks, outside caterers, music curfews and free parking, do not appear on any current page or brochure, and the venue's FAQ page no longer exists. Ask the venue, in writing:

Is a mandap permitted, and at what size?
Is an open flame allowed for a havan or agni, and are candles restricted?
Is a baraat permitted, with a horse or dhol?
Can a caterer outside the preferred list be used, and on what terms?
What are the music finish and curfew times, and is parking free?
Are confetti, fireworks or a drone allowed?

Mansion suites and the morning before a Hunton Park wedding

The venue does not name a bridal preparation room. What its packages publish is accommodation: the Pearl and Gold packages include a Deluxe Mansion Suite for the wedding night, and the Diamond package adds a complimentary room the night before. The mansion house has nine deluxe suites and rooms, with 62 more bedrooms in the main hotel next door, so ask which room you can use on the morning and how much daylight it gets.

Grade II* on the list, Grade II on the venue's page

Historic England's entry 1173193 lists the house at Grade II* and dates it to 1909. The venue's own pages describe the mansion differently, as a Queen Anne house with Georgian proportions and tall white columns, as Grade II listed, and as having "seen a lot over its 190 years", so treat the list entry as the record. The house served as a set for the 1971 film The Raging Moon, according to the venue.

No parking or station details are published on the current wedding pages, so ask the venue how guests arriving by car and by train should be directed. Older guides said parking was free on site, but that statement came from a page that now returns an error, so it cannot be relied on. Ask the venue how many cars the site takes, whether wedding guests pay and where coaches can drop off. Are there rules on confetti, candles or music at Hunton Park?

None are published on the venue's current pages or in its 2026 inserts. The venue's old FAQ page no longer exists, so no current rule can be quoted. Until the venue confirms them, treat each as an open question. Ask in writing about confetti, candles and any open flame for a havan, fireworks, a drone, the music finish time and the final curfew, and keep the answers with your booking.
