Carpenders Park is a residential area on the Watford and Harrow border. We travel throughout Hertfordshire for mandap ceremonies, and Oxhey, Abbots Langley are all familiar to us. We cover the whole of the Home Counties, and Carpenders Park and the towns around it are well known to us.

A residential area on the Watford and Harrow border, sitting between the Carpenders Park and South Oxhey estates. Carpenders Park station on the London Overground Lioness line runs to Watford Junction and London Euston. When there is time for couple portraits, Oxhey Woods Local Nature Reserve, close to 100 hectares of ancient woodland is a favourite, and Oxhey Chapel, a chapel dating from 1612 in nearby South Oxhey makes a memorable setting.

The most sacred parts of the day are captured from a respectful distance with a quiet long lens. We are mindful of every family's customs at the mandap, Gujarati, Punjabi, Marwari or North Indian. At the heart of a Hindu wedding is the agni, the sacred fire that witnesses the marriage.

We are glad to cover a single event or the whole multi-day celebration. From the turmeric of the haldi to the music of the sangeet, the events set the tone for the wedding. We document the roka and the engagement that begin the journey, when families ask us.
