Serving Carpenders Park
Carpenders Park is a residential area on the Watford and Harrow border. Across Hertfordshire, including Oxhey, Abbots Langley, we photograph the colour and devotion of every Asian tradition. Whether your ceremony is in Carpenders Park itself or elsewhere across Hertfordshire, we plan the day around your venues.
We are at ease with large, multi-day celebrations and intimate ceremonies alike. We follow your family's customs closely and photograph them exactly as you keep them. We arrive early, stay late and keep pace with every part of the celebration.
Wherever your venues are across Carpenders Park and Hertfordshire, we plan the route and the timings in advance. Carpenders Park is a residential area on the Watford and Harrow border. We also photograph in nearby Maple Cross and Mill End. Venues we have photographed at near Carpenders Park include Grim's Dyke Hotel and The Grove.
A residential area on the Watford and Harrow border, sitting between the Carpenders Park and South Oxhey estates. Carpenders Park station on the London Overground Lioness line runs to Watford Junction and London Euston. We often take couples to Oxhey Woods Local Nature Reserve, close to 100 hectares of ancient woodland for a few quiet portraits, and Oxhey Chapel, a chapel dating from 1612 in nearby South Oxhey is a lovely backdrop nearby.

What we offer
Respectful, unobtrusive coverage in temples, gurdwaras and mosques.
Hand-finished albums that hold the whole story of your Asian celebration.
The mehndi, haldi and sangeet, where the warmest, most natural moments often happen.
Every tradition
We are mindful of every family's customs at the ceremony, and photograph them exactly as they happen. We are ready for the giving of the sindoor and the tying of the mangalsutra at a Hindu ceremony. The muhurat and muhurtham, the auspicious hours, set the pace of the ceremony, and we plan around them.
The bhangra and the dancing carry the reception late into the night, and we stay for all of it. The reception is the joyful finale, with speeches, the first dance and the bhangra. We photograph the milni, when the two families meet, with all of its warmth.

The whole celebration
The early events are full of warmth and laughter, and we photograph them with the same care as the ceremony. We tailor the hours to your events, whether it is one key day or a long weekend of celebrations.
We photograph the ceremony, the portraits and the reception in balance, so each is given its due. We always recommend a little time for couple portraits, often at golden hour, away from the bustle.

Yes. We are comfortable photographing respectfully in temples, gurdwaras and mosques, as well as mandaps, marquees and banqueting halls. We work quietly around the priest, the granthi or the imam, often with a long lens, so the ceremony is never disturbed.
Absolutely. We regularly cover the mehndi, the sangeet, the haldi, the ceremony and the reception across two or three days in Carpenders Park, and we bring additional photographers for the largest celebrations so that no event, from the baraat to the last dance, is ever missed.
Very. We photograph the vows and the sacred rituals from a respectful distance with quiet, long-lens work, whatever the tradition, so the ceremony is never disturbed. Our documentary style means the day feels like yours, and we are a calm, unobtrusive presence throughout.
Always. We carry backup cameras, lenses and memory cards to every wedding, and we back up your images on the day as we go, so your photographs are safe. After twenty-five years and over a thousand weddings, being prepared for anything is second nature to us.
