Carpenders Park works outward. The house would come first, and with no venue among the residential streets, the rites and the party would be held elsewhere, possibly in two different places. Two hired rooms inside one week means two lighting problems and two sets of questions to ask before signing. Oxhey Woods, nearly 100 hectares of mainly ancient woodland, sits nearby for portraits, and under its canopy the usable light fades well before the sky above does.
