Yes. It is messy, funny and unposed, so it photographs better than almost any staged hour of the week. We work close and accept that a lens may end up yellow. Warn whoever hosts it that we will be underfoot.

Yes, and separately if you prefer. Pre-wedding evenings are where a family behaves normally, so the pictures loosen up and often improve. Booked in the same conversation as the wedding, they are far easier to schedule.
