Serving Carpenders Park
Carpenders Park is a residential area on the Watford and Harrow border. Muslim families throughout Oxhey, Abbots Langley trust us with their celebrations, large and small. From Carpenders Park we cover weddings right across Hertfordshire, at mosques, hotels, marquees and banqueting suites.
We photograph the nikah with warmth and respect, mindful of the meaning behind the mahr and the dua. We move softly around the imam through the nikah, capturing the real moments rather than staging them. We are mindful of modesty throughout, and photograph the gender-segregated celebrations with sensitivity.
Much of our work takes us across Hertfordshire; Carpenders Park, a residential area on the Watford and Harrow border, and the towns around it, including Oxhey, Abbots Langley, are very familiar to us. We also cover nearby Maple Cross and Mill End. Venues we know well in and near Carpenders Park include Grim's Dyke Hotel and The Grove.
A residential area on the Watford and Harrow border, sitting between the Carpenders Park and South Oxhey estates. Carpenders Park station on the London Overground Lioness line runs to Watford Junction and London Euston. We often take couples to Oxhey Woods Local Nature Reserve, close to 100 hectares of ancient woodland for a few quiet portraits, and Oxhey Chapel, a chapel dating from 1612 in nearby South Oxhey is a lovely backdrop nearby.

What we offer
The henna, the dholki music and the dancing of the mehndi, where the warmest moments often happen.
From the ijab-e-qubool and the mahr to the signing of the nikah-nama, every moment of the nikah understood and captured.
From the morning preparations to the last dance of the walima, every event told as one story.
Every tradition
The rukhsati, when the bride leaves with the groom, is the most tender moment, and we photograph it gently. We photograph the giving and receiving of the ring, where it is part of your customs. We photograph the blessings and the prayers of the imam with reverence.
From the first event to the last, we tell the full story of the celebration. The mehndi night is full of colour, music and dancing, and often holds the warmest moments of all. The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention.

The whole celebration
Many families hold a mangni long before the wedding, and a mehndi the night before the nikah. A multi-day Muslim wedding can run across three or four days, and we plan our coverage around all of them.
From the nikah to the last guest, we follow the whole day at its own pace. From the morning preparations to the final celebration, we give every part of the day the same care.
Why choose us
A thousand weddings in, we still find every walima unique, and photograph it that way. Over a thousand celebrations have taught us when to step close for the mahr and when to stand back during the dua.
We cover the whole of the UK for Muslim weddings, so distance never stands between us and your nikah. Distance is never a problem; travelling to your mosque and banqueting hall is simply part of how we work.

Where we travel
We photograph nikah ceremonies throughout the Home Counties, and Carpenders Park is firmly within the area we cover. We photograph across Hertfordshire regularly, and travelling to a nikah in Carpenders Park is second nature.

Good to know
Most Muslim weddings run from the morning preparations through to the walima, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations, taking in the mehndi and the dholki, we tailor the hours to your events and your budget.
Always. We carry backup cameras, lenses and memory cards to every wedding, and back up your images on the day as we go, so your photographs are safe from the moment they are taken until your album is ready.
Yes. We travel to Carpenders Park and across Hertfordshire for Muslim weddings, and further afield across the UK. The nikah, the mehndi and the walima are a speciality, and distance is never a problem for us.
Yes. Alongside your edited digital gallery we design a hand-finished, fine-art album, so the whole story of your celebration, from the mehndi to the walima, is held in something beautiful to pass down the generations.
Yes. We are comfortable photographing respectfully at the mosque, at home or in a banqueting hall, working quietly around the imam and mindful of prayer times, so the nikah is captured beautifully and never disturbed.
