Most of what matters during the agni happens between hands, the pandit's and the couple's, and hands sit down at fire level rather than up at guest level.

So the photographer moves rather than the couple: a corner first, the guests' side second, low behind the flame third. Sindoor is the opposite problem, gone inside a second.
