Southall station on the Elizabeth line, one of the few stations in England with bilingual English and Punjabi signage. We often take couples to Osterley Park, a National Trust estate with parkland near Southall for a few quiet portraits, and Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha on Havelock Road, one of the largest Sikh gurdwaras in Europe is a lovely backdrop nearby.

A pre-wedding or engagement session beforehand lets us get to know you, so that by the wedding day the camera already feels like part of the furniture. Speeches bring the biggest reactions of the day, so we watch both the speaker and the room, catching the joy, the tears and the applause. When the evening party begins and the lights come down, we adapt our approach, working in low light to keep the dancing alive and full of energy.
