Each person takes about fifteen minutes once the lights are set. The first frames are calibration, not waste. You look at the screen, and we adjust the chin, the shoulders and the eyeline from there.
Everyone sees their own shortlist before we move on, which heads off the usual problem of somebody hating a picture that is already published. Retouching stays light, and finished files land in colour with mono alternatives. Nobody has to decide anything on the spot: the shortlist goes home with you, and the picking happens later, in your own time.

Coming to us from Southall, the studio at 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6 1NU is about six and a half miles away, and Northwood Hills station on the Metropolitan line is the nearest stop. Headshot and portrait sittings are booked ahead, while passport and ID photos, printing, framing, restoration and scanning can be handled at the studio too. Headshot sittings at the studio can be fitted into a working day between 10:30 and 18:00 from Monday to Saturday, or taken on a Sunday afternoon from 13:00 to 18:00.
