On site we need one room we can hold for the session, about three metres clear and a plug. Everything else travels with us, including the background. At the studio you walk in, hang your coat up and we start; there is no setting up for you to wait through.
Either way you see the frames on screen and choose while we are still set up, so nothing gets picked off a thumbnail later. The chosen file is retouched and delivered square-cropped for profiles and full frame for a website.

You will find the studio at The Broadway, 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6 1NU, some 3 miles from Ickenham. Individual headshots are booked there by appointment, and the same counter handles printing, framing, restoration and scanning. Passport and ID photos need no appointment. We keep the studio open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 to 18:00 and on Sundays from 13:00 to 18:00.
Every headshot is taken by Kaushik Bathia, FBIPP and FMPA, whose Northwood studio has been open since 2001 and whose work holds five European Kodak Gold Awards.
