I attended Northwood Hills Studio-Kaushik Bathia photography with my family and I had the most amazing time. My family was made to feel extremely relaxed and welcomed, and the result was some fabulous images He was organised and professional and kept everything stress free. A very enjoyable day out with fantastic photos as a result.
Great customer service and very professional. I booked a family photo session with him for a Sunday evening at 5pm however, got stuck in traffic and couldn't get to the studio until 5:45 pm. He was very patient and waited until we got to there. He was very good at making my daughter smile in all the pictures.
We have been to Kaushik’s studio over many years for photos for passport renewals. He is very professional and has always taken the best pictures. We booked a family session recently and he did an amazing job and put us at ease for the portrait shots. Beautiful and artistic photos. We are very pleased with them. They do not need to. Instead we let the session turn into a game and photograph what happens, with nobody asked to smile on cue. A child busy exploring the play area or the path by the lake often gives a truer picture than any posed smile.
Both. Outdoors we use Swakeleys Park, which is the usual choice from spring through autumn; the open ground lets us work close to where you park instead of pushing a pram across the whole park. The Northwood studio is the indoor option, and it is the better one for babies, for anyone unsteady on their feet, and on any day the forecast is against us.
Because what is on offer is a location and a running order rather than an adjective. Swakeleys Park is the ground, the Victorian village pump is where we meet, and the session stays inside a short radius so pushchairs and older relatives are not marched about. The Northwood studio sits behind it as the indoor fallback. Ruislip, Hillingdon and Northolt are covered on the same basis.
Yes, and for a family session coming to you is the normal arrangement rather than the exception. We meet you at Swakeleys Park rather than asking anybody to load a car full of children and drive to Northwood. Ruislip, Hillingdon and Northolt work the same way. The only sessions starting at the studio are the indoor ones and the ones driven indoors by rain.

Visiting the studio from Ickenham
The studio sits at The Broadway, 21 Joel St, Northwood HA6 1NU, around 3 miles from Ickenham. An indoor family sitting can be booked there for a wet day, and old prints and negatives can be left with us for restoring, framing or scanning. Passport and ID photos need no appointment. We open 10:30 to 18:00 from Monday to Saturday, and 13:00 to 18:00 on Sundays.
