We photograph portraits across Southall, and Osterley, Yeading and Greenford are covered on exactly the same footing. Sittings can run outdoors on the estate parkland at Osterley Park; when it rains we move to the room in Northwood. Bookings tend to be one or two people rather than a crowd, which keeps the session short and the walking minimal.

- Three Bridges on Windmill Lane is a three-level crossing designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel in 1856, where the road crosses the Grand Union Canal, which runs in an aqueduct above the railway. 1
- Southall Manor House Grounds. The grounds of Southall's timber-framed Elizabethan Manor House, in the town centre, have yew trees and an old mulberry said to have been planted by Henry VIII. 2
- Long Wood, entered from Windmill Lane and Trumpers Way, is one of the finest remnants of ancient woodland in the Brent River Park, with a raised wooden boardwalk and a mature oak and cherry tree sharing one trunk. 3
- Osterley Park, south-east of Southall on the Ealing and Hounslow border, is a Georgian estate dating from the 1570s, with a house remodelled by Robert Adam in 1761-65 and a Grade II* listed park, run by the National Trust. 4
