Serving Hammersmith and Fulham
Hammersmith and Fulham is a riverside west London borough. Wherever your events are held across Kensington and Chelsea, Wandsworth, we plan the timings and travel with care. From the darbar sahib to the reception floor, we photograph the whole day with a calm, familiar presence.
Our approach is relaxed and documentary, so you can be present in your own Anand Karaj rather than posing for it. Inside the gurdwara we never turn our back to the Guru Granth Sahib, shooting discreetly from the sides and the back. We make sure the families are in the story too, from the milni embraces to the blessings of the sangat.
Wherever your venues are across Hammersmith and Fulham and Greater London, we plan the route and the early gurdwara timings in advance. Hammersmith and Fulham is a riverside west London borough. We also photograph in nearby Haringey and Harrow Weald. In and around Hammersmith and Fulham, we have photographed at venues such as Linden House Riverside and The Queen's Club.
Hammersmith and Fulham is a riverside west London borough combining busy commercial centres with sought-after residential streets near the Thames. Hammersmith station serves the District, Piccadilly, Circle and Hammersmith & City lines, and the A4 runs through the borough. For relaxed couple photographs, we like Bishop's Park, a riverside park beside the Thames with tree-lined walks, and Fulham Palace, the former residence of the Bishops of London gives the day a strong sense of Hammersmith and Fulham.

What we offer
The four hymns the couple circle the Guru Granth Sahib for, photographed with quiet reverence from the side of the darbar sahib.
The vegetarian langar shared by the whole sangat after the Anand Karaj, photographed with warmth.
For large gurdwara days, a second shooter covers the milni and the bridal prep at once.
Every tradition
As the ragis sing each laav, the couple walk slowly around the Guru Granth Sahib, and we photograph it quietly from the side. We are mindful of gurdwara etiquette throughout, never turning our back to the Guru Granth Sahib. We keep our distance during the laavan and the prayers, and step in only for the joyful greetings.
The pre-wedding events are often where the most natural photographs come from, and we give them full attention. The mehndi is intimate and detailed, and we photograph both the henna and the laughter around it. We photograph the bridal preparations with a gentle, unobtrusive eye.

The whole celebration
The turmeric of the maiyan and the henna of the mehndi are rich with colour, and we make the most of it. Some families hold a Sri Akhand Path in the days before the wedding, and we cover it with quiet reverence.
Because gurdwaras often require an early finish, the Anand Karaj usually falls in the morning, and we plan for it. We always recommend a little time for couple portraits, often after the ceremony, away from the bustle.
Why choose us
Experience means we are ready for the early gurdwara start, the milni and the precise order of the four laavan. Couples choose us for our calm presence and our knowledge of every ritual, from the milni to the four laavan.
We are London-based and travel across Greater London and the wider region for the Anand Karaj and every event around it. From London we reach Hammersmith and Fulham easily, and we know the darbar sahib and langar halls of Greater London well.

Where we travel
We factor in the early gurdwara timings and the milni carefully, so we are always in position before the four laavan. Multi-venue Sikh days are never an issue; we plan the route from the gurdwara to the reception and the timings in advance.

Good to know
Most Sikh weddings run from the morning maiyan or milni through to the reception, so full-day coverage works best. For multi-day celebrations we tailor the hours to your events.
Absolutely. The maiyan, mehndi and jaggo night are often where the warmest, most natural moments happen, and we are glad to cover them as part of your wedding.
Yes. We photograph Punjabi and Sikh weddings across the country and know the order of the milni, the sehra bandi, the choora, the four laavan and the doli.
Very much so. We know the ceremony by heart, from the milni and the kirtan to the ardaas and the four laavan, and we position ourselves so each laav is captured calmly and respectfully.
Yes. We know the four laavan well, and understand that the couple circle the Guru Granth Sahib once for each hymn. We photograph every round quietly from a respectful distance.
